I'll be honest, when it comes to card games, I'm on the fence. The Yu-Gi-Oh games on the GBx (and, to my understanding, the DS) are well done because the card game was redesigned to be more friendly to video game design. I've never played the DBZ card game on the DS, but I've seen polarized reviews. I have tried a few, I'll probably keep trying them. But if given the choice, I'd rather not.Oh, but one thing - Dungeon Dice Monsters was absolutely amazing.

Do you like card games on the GBA? Like Yu-gi-oh or Pokemon, or even something classic like Blackjack or Poker.

Of course. I have every Yugioh game, but that's it. I don't like the other Pokemon or DBZ trading card games very much.

I did like the Duel Masters series games though, they weren't bad imo.

I remember playing the Pokemon TCG back on the GB and it was one of my fav, too bad they didn't release the 2nd TCG in english. But not all TCG was for me. Tried playing the latest Yu-gi-oh card games but it felt different from what I used to play.

Well naturally you'd want real cards instead, but if you're a real gamer then you'd settle for virtual cards too. :P

I love TCG video games, and i'm pretty good at them so i have no objections to them. My favorites are the Yugioh video games. I'll play any of their video games and i have many of them already, not just the regular card game versions, but also ones like; Falsebound Kingdom, Capsule Monsters, and Duelist of the Roses. I like the aspect of them changing the Yugioh style of playing within many of their video games. I still have all of the Yugioh games for my GBA and many of the others as well. ^_^

*Also, Yugioh is the best don't argue with me about it.

I've always enjoyed fantasy card games (like Yugioh), and not so much normal card games (like Poker). If anything, it was because of the Cardcaptors anime.

Yes i do like playing Yugioh on the GBA. At first i was a bit skeptical of the game but when i tried it, it was really fun. It can be quite addicting because of all the cards you can collect. I haven't play any other card games on gba beside yugioh though.

One of my first games ever was the Pokemon Trading Card Game for my old GBC. It was honestly extremely fun once I actually learned how to play the game, because I was about only 5 and didn't fully understand the trading card game XD I got a YuGiOh one as well and I enjoyed myself playing it but not as much as that original Pokemon TCG xP

I prefer to play card games with real people. I find that computers are harder to bluff.

I'd say that most of the card games on the GBA are enjoyable, but if you want more modern interations of the Yu-Gi-Oh card game you'll have to upgrade to the PSP or DS.

It was sort of sad that the pokemon trading card game never got another game in the U.S.  Albeit the TCG itself is still going strong, but all of my old cards are rather useless since the Pokemon TCG cycles out it's old cards with new booster packs over time.  I guess, it is a good way to force people to have to spend more money in order to have a tournament playable deck.

Though, I do find the pacing of the Pokemon TCG on the GBC to be a bit of a disappointment.  Since, you'll need to spend a lot of time on equipping Pokemon with energy cards in order to take down your opponent.

I prefer to play card games with real people. I find that computers are harder to bluff.

Yeah, a computer does have an impressive poker face.  Though, on the plus side it is possible to beat a computer a poker unlike a few other games like Chess.

Yes i do like playing Yugioh on the GBA. At first i was a bit skeptical of the game but when i tried it, it was really fun. It can be quite addicting because of all the cards you can collect. I haven't play any other card games on gba beside yugioh though.

Well, playing the Yu-Gi-Oh card game on a handheld can offer you the ability to collect all of the cards without investing hundreds if not thousands of dollars into the physical card game.  It offers a cheap alternative to the actual game and is a respectable representation of the actual rules for tournament play.  Albeit the handheld games quickly go out of date in terms of ban lists and new booster packs.

Though, it can be nice to visit the simple days of dueling when there weren't in excess of 4,000 cards to choose from.
