Your paying top dollar for those Alienware exculsives- case, fancy lighting. If you like those and dont mind shelling out a 20% extra premium on those parts, go ahead.

Building it is for people with a lot of computer knowledge. You don't need coding skills, but you need to know how a computer works inside out. Alienware is a good brand and with the illuminated keyboards etc. They will turn heads. I guess it depends on your skill level.Though, this new netbook, the M11X, can play COD:MW2 and it's an 11 inch screen! And only $1000Thats pretty good and I may nab one of them, but I wouldn't recommend a desktop.Their mouse is very good though. I'm using it right now!

Actual a complete noob could build a computer quite easily, i built my frist pc at 16 just looking at some screenshots. Its quite strightforward you dont need to know how **** really works, but i don remeber i forget to plug the power cable for my HDD and it wouldnt work and i was QQin for so long it took me 3 days to find out that I didnt plug it in. And also I would really recommend building your own pc, its alot of fun finding parts, ordering them, waiting Lol, then putting it all together and seeing it work lol.

I've only heard bad things from them, so stay away. It's best to build your own, I did that recently and have no regrets
