Gotta say, Kokiri Village theme (Ocarina of time is technically oldschool at this point)Aaaand the mario theme.They are so beyond classic, I actually learned to play them on bass (by ear of course, tabs are for sissies)

That's an easy question, the first mario game and Zelda Ocarina Of Time ad the best old sound effects ever at the time.

fzero for snes the first level was a nice tune, also some of the street fighter II for super nintendo like the ryu and the m bison stages, mario rpg the boss theme or the final battle one was awesome!!!

The theme song of Super Mario Bros. is one of my favorite game music and some Kirby Super Star music.

Yes!!! Song of Storms (which was in more than just OoT). Wind waker is good too, can't remember specifically though... All of Zelda is great thoughzelda ocarina of time had some awesome tracks

for snes it would be catwoman theme from adventures of batman and robin

Idk if this counts as old 
But, for me i'll say the original SSB for the N64. That's really the only "old" system i've ever played. I love all the background music, both story, menu, and all around battle background music.

Chrono Trigger has great music, as well as Final Fantasy games. But 8-bit music that I always find enjoyable is any game that is from Sunsoft.

phantasy star iv had good music. i like the main theme and rune's music as well. every bit of music fit in for the scene so that made it the more memorable
