damn. thats more than i'll ever need. i think i might just get a 16gb memory stick though. the 2tb memory stick is gonna cost a fortune. x.x

Chances are it won't work in CFW's either. Unless DAX or someone else adjusts the firmwares to load them, because as of now CFW's can only handle up to 8 gigs.

Yeah the price tag is going to make it completely un-necessary. But the memory cards are used for a lot of other products that it may prove useful for. It's just cool to see that they are making memory sticks with that much space, that small.Which, as the course of technology goes, in the future they'll just get cheaper.

I'd like to have 2TB of space on my laptop...But, that aside, I don't really see needing that much space on a PSP. :)I mean, seriously, that's a whole lotta games, pics, videos, music, and still have room left over, lol.

The PSP can handle 2 TB. The "processor" can handle 2 TB. That's why it's being released for the PSP. This isn't a hack or anything.The only question, is how will this be applied to the homebrew/hacking scene. The 16GB card doesn't work with CFW, so I doubt the 2TB card will.It's far too early to say.But this is an official release. So it will work on the PSP.LOL. Wow, the power of 20+ supercomputers all within a single memory stick....as redundant as it may be now, I'm foreseeing computers with the capability to insert this chip and immediately access your information; in other words, no more need for the USB ports on the PSP. It would be pretty convenient in other ways as well; you could use your PSP as a backup computer in case yours crashes. You could use it in place of a laptop and still be able to surf the web, play emulators, and create presentations for work. The possibilities are endless!

Well the possibilities end at the capabilities of the PSP. There is only so much the hardware can handle.But with the rumored PSP2 or PSP-4k, who knows whats in the future.

Most sites i read say the max size so far with cfw and photofast adapter is 32gb Why do you think cfw is limited to 8?And remember most 16gb cards bought online are fake 4-8's hacked to show 16 (only buy bulk packaging cards from trusted amazon stores (99%+))Everyone On pspmod.com agree and some use 2x16gb micro's with a photofast(granted need the 1.5 kernel addon)The only question, is how will this be applied to the homebrew/hacking scene. A 2Tb would allow me to put... well a HUGE chunk of my DVD collection onto my PSP. Awesomeness!!
Why do you say this? I am running a 16Gb Mem stick with 5.00 m33-6 and it works GREAT! It can hold TONS of stuff and plays games and movies with no problems.Is there something else I'm missing?-ChanceThe 16GB card doesn't work with CFW, so I doubt the 2TB card will.
