I love Shakespeare, even though he was misogynistic writer. I cant help but love the lyrical flow of thought in his works. The plays I've studied:- Romeo & Juliet- Macbeth- Hamlet- King Lear- Midsummer's Night Dream- Othello- Tempest- Antony and Cleopatra- Julius CaesarAnd I think of the comedies but I can't remember. Merry Gentlemen of Verona? Meh..

I only studied Macbeth last year because it was our class play, but I've read Romeo and Juliet and Midsummer Night's Dream. I'd like to read Twelfth Night, too.

I have read too many. I have read almost all his plays not for pleasure either. His plays are way better on stage. They just dont translate as well in print

the popular 3 (in my opinion): Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, and Ceasar. there might be 1 or 2 more that i've read, but off of the top of my head this is what i know for certain.

I've only delved into two: Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet. I really can't stand much of Shakespeare anyway; I can't be bothered to spend all this time trying to interpret what exactly it is he was trying to say, and to be frank, I'm just not interested. I understand that most of his works are satirical to some extent and provide some high-brow humor, and I enjoy that, but the whole process of dismantling said jokes word by confusing word kinda kills the effect.

From what I can remember of my years at high school...I studied Macbeth and Othello. Wait, there was something the year before Macbeth...it was the one with the quote "If you prick us, do we not bleed?"I remember a quote, but not the name of the play, how lame is that. D:

Let's see: A Midsummer's Night Dream, Othello, Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet, Macbeth. So, in class, I have studied five plays in my four years of high school. It seems rather pathetic considering how many plays Shakespeare has written.

I've come to hate Macbeth and Hamlet and Romeo&Juliet because of the way if was taught at my high schools....My teachers had no true passion for literature and in hindsight I regret not becoming more learned in it.I do plan on reading Midsummer Night's Dream after this semester is over though :3

I have studied six total:
  • Romeo and Juliet (haven't we all?)
  • Othello
  • Hamlet
  • Macbeth
  • King Lear
  • Taming of the Shrew
I have also read others for fun and for the Shakespearience festival at Drew University. These include A Midsummer Night's Dream, Two Gentlemen of Verona, A Merchant of Venice, The Comedy of Errors, the Tempest, Julius Caesar, Much Ado About Nothing (my favorite) and Twelfth Night. What can I say? I like Shakespearean works and the theatre in general.
