I'm not sure if this topic has been started or not, but what are your favorite parts of a Zelda game.Mine would be the exploration part of the game, and the ability to get new items to help you on your way. Exploring the entire Zelda game is fun because there is just so much to do. There are usually a ton of side quests to do that make the game more fun.Getting new items is always cool because its another way to kill a monster, plus it can help you advance throught the game.

Gotta love the diverse world in most of the 3D games, all the detail and such into the lore and so on, one of the main reasons I like TP.

I always liked the dungeons and the puzzles they have, though I'm speaking more for the older ones since the I never played any of the GC/Wii games. I played Wind Waker a little bit, but I traded my GC in before I got even halfway through the game, I loved the exploration in that one, though it wasn't as open-ended as I hoped.

I like the exploration parts too and also when meeting Princess Zelda. My most favourite game is Twilight Princess. It has more quests. :D :D

I really liked the trading sequences. My favorite was Ocarina of Time's tradings because you get this be-all end-all godly weapon as a result of your hard work. It's tough to do and the average player won't do it, but I could never imagine playing the game with the weak master sword. Who needs a shield when you have a sword that's twice your height and can kill things with a mere flick of the blade? But I didn't like Link's Awakening's trading sequence. That was sort of a pain in the ass, as completing it was contingent to the story and involved lots of wandering around, looking for the next recipient of whatever honeycomb or stick you have.

My favorite Zelda moment has almost always been acquiring your sword or the Master Sword. Like on the beach in Link's Awakening, when the famous Hyrule theme chimes in and Link spin-slashes his sword into a victory pose after first finding it washed on the shore, or pulling the Master Sword from the Lost Woods in Link to the Past. I also get a little choked up the first time young Link pulls the Master Sword from the Temple of Time and is transported 7 years into the future and sees himself all grown up :)

I'd say music is really up there --- especially in Ocarina of Time, although from that game I also really liked the first glimpse of the future and the exploration of the Forest Palace, etc. It was just so... dark and totally unexpected. I was in the minority that loved the mechanic for Majora's Mask, too.More generally, I'd say exploration, though, especially mapping.

There is no way I could have a single favorite part in all of Zelda. In the first two, it's simply completing the game (on the second quest in the case of the original).Link to the Past's defining moment was when Aghanim transports Zelda in front of you and disappears behind the tapestry. In Link's Awakening, it was when I first learned Koholint was a dream of the Wind Fish. It made the rest of the game somewhat somber. In Ocarina of Time, it was the fights with the Darknuts, and more specifically, with Nabooru. In Majora's Mask, I loved the Zora Mask. Just swimming through the Great Sea as a Zora was the best part of that game.In the Oracle games, I loved fighting Ganon when you linked the two through the password feature. In Wind Waker, it was the final fight, without a doubt. That was the most epic fight with Ganon in any Zelda game.In Minish Cap, it was discovering Vaati was an apprentice to Ezlo and turned him into his current form.In Twilight Princess, I loved how just before the final part of the final battle, Midna's helm...thing is dropped at your feet. It definitely set the mood for the fight. The part with Midna being all sick was nice too, if only for the music. But hands-down, the best part of this game was sniping monsters with your bow to a good ol' western theme.

In every Zelda game that has fishing, it is my primary motivation to get to that part as soon as possible. Then, I feel relaxed to finish the rest of the game as I know I can return to fishing when I am stuck.

I really love the side quests, getting all the heart pieces, and mostly in Majora's, getting all the masks.

a very hard question because so much is good in those games. I love in the original when you bomb your first wall and found a secret entrance! I then proceeded to bomb every wall in every room looking for more. I cant count all the rupees wasted on bombing :D

My favorite part on the Zelda games is probably gaining new weapons which can be used in lots of different ways to finish puzzles you were forced to skip before or something. After that, the second thing I enjoy most is probably killing the bosses, and in third place, saving zelda.I pretty much love the entire game with 2 exceptions. When you are forced to light a candle or when you need to fish. I hate the places where you need to do things like that.I've played almost all of the zelda games, but only actually completed 2. I completed Zelda and the minish cap for GBA and twilight princess for wii. And I've played, Ocarina, Wind Walker, and another one which I forgot it's name (it's quite old snes or so). And my favorite zelda was Ocarina of Time, it has the most equipment and stuff.

my favourite parts are the dungeons and their puzzles and the bosses. i like the surprises of new items you receive and i always like the cut scenes where either Ganon(dorf) or someone else evil capturs zelda or unleashes their power cos it makes me think the story is gonna be long, which it usually is

For me its got to be the replay value of the LoZ games even if I've finished one its still fun to go back and do it all again and set challenges while playing like only have the 3 hearts or use the default sword the whole game stuff like that makes the game much more challenging

I don't think many people could say that there was just ONE awesome thing about any of the Zelda games. Every one of them has many things that make them unique in gameplay and storyline, and almost all the games are epic in every prospective. You could say the one awesome thing about a Zelda game, is the whole game. Though, I do find kicking Ganon's butt in all the games to be a joyous moment.. As for the games separately... There are a few things that I enjoy in the games I have played..Adventures of Link - Oh, the simplicity of it all.Oracle of Seasons/Ages - The password linkage ability to let you fight Twinrova and Ganon in the end. And using your animal friend to get around (Ricky Punch!!!). Ooh! and the rings, I love the rings. Transforming into different monsters is much much fun, dear I say.Ocarina of Time - ALL OF IIITTTTTTTTT!!Minish Cap - Becoming Minish! The Minish people are so cute!! Although they could be better, graphics are decent, Link is quite cute looking. I also like the Kinstone concept, trading with in-game characters to unlock passages, items, other things and whatnot (haven't found them all yet). The fight with Vaati is easy, yet fun too.Windwaker - I love the end fight with Ganon, completely epic. Flooded Hyrule is new, but it's still alot of fun sailing around on the Great Sea. Another thing I love on this game, hiding in barrels and sneaking past monsters. It's so funny. Teehee. Phantom Hourglass - I like the touch area of the game, drawing symbols and whatnot in places to unlock them. And Collecting all the ship parts, that keeps me playing after I've defeated thingymabob evil guy (Bellum - there we go). Good game, really.Twilight Princess - I LOVE being a wolf! It's so fun! And riding Epona, much better than OoT. Everything in this game is awesome, especially controlling the chicken you attack instead of getting attacked by a mob of them. Ganon's fight, well, easily the best Ganon/End Villian fight I've done. It's exciting to find out about this new Zelda game to be announced (Hopefully at E3) Can't wait for a title, I'm sure it'll be better than TP!
