maybe he was looking for a lost chicken, i mean after they're done moping around trying to find someone to hopefully scare, they do gotta eat. i mean zombie's didn't have that problem "i'm so hungry... (the homer simpson) mmmmm my arm arrghh" bang bang your dead 50 bullets in your head one red one blue all the rest are zombie gooI'm going to agree with a few posters already and say Resident Evil 4. That was a ridiculously fun game, but the only parts that scared me were when you first hear the Regenerator's breathing... and when that guy busts out of the oven and grabs you! That definitely made me jump and just exclaim out loud, "What the hell was that!?" I mean, seriously, what was he even doing in there, anyway?
Should I feel bad if I want everything to become ice cream?

I certainly wouldn't call Doom 3 'sad', though I was a bit disappointed with it. The graphics were top-notch, the little bits of random NPC chatter and the like really made the place come alive, though the main story itself doesn't make much sense (why doesn't his 22nd century guns have flashlights attached when most modern-day ones already do?), but overall it's still good for a few kicks. My main problem was the repetition of enemies, and the same old tactics used ad homiem. If the game were half as long, or had a wider variety of tactical maneuvers, it would've been an instant classic. And having a rocket launcher in the game was kinda dumb considering that 95% of the fights were in close quarters. Oops, I seem to be turning this into a Doom 3 review thread. My bad.Oh wait, it's my thread. :(Ehh, carry on.yeah doom and quake are just plain sad

Left 4 dead was scary. the Clock Tower games gave me nightmares one timeKind of a spin-off of this thread, I'd like to know some games that were supposedly scary, but just...well, weren't.For me, Doom 3. I know it wasn't supposed to be terrifying or anything, but it's so predictable, it worked for the old-school Dooms but it's just tired out now.I'm sick of imps teleporting behind me every five seconds, only when I turn around to kill them, a revenant busts through the door (silently, I might add) to shoot me in the back with rockets. That's not scary, just annoying.Though I will say that I did kinda go "Ahh wtf" a few times here and there, but I wasn't really 'scared' by the game, just suprised once in awhile.Any others? I know there are.
