I didn't find any part of resident evil 4 to be scary as long as i had bullets, and i found doom to be very scary.

for some reason, none of the doom or resident evil games were ever that scary to me. the only game that's ever actually scared me was when i was playing my battleship on my nes back about 17 years ago and i got all the way to the last level and the power flicked off and back on. :( that scared the mess out of 6 year old me!

no games are really that scary.. it's only scary when the cutscenes are scary or there are random jumps at you. left4dead, resident evil, they don't really hold much scare or frightening factor at all..

My choice, and please do be too shocked when I say this, would be both Dead Space and Fear. I haven't been scared by games, movies, tv, etc. in years. Dooms 1-3 made me laugh, Bioshock I loved but was just a good game...too be honest the scariest game I saw in a while would have to be a Barbie game my little cousin was playing; that horrified me.

I felt the Resident Evil 4 wasn't really scary. It had it's moments but piles in comparison to the others. You have a lot of ammo and you can see what's around every corner. It's still a really great game.

Clock Tower 3 for PS2. I didn't find it scary at all. It puts the previous games to shame. Also, rule of rose for PS2. Creepy, yeah. Scary? I don't think so.

I thought resident evil was supposed to be scary so I never bothered to play it. Then I got 4 for the Wii and became heavily addicted. But at first I was scared to go around the corners because Zombie things kept screaming or starting chainsaws. I can't play those games in the dark, I get creeeeped out. Well, I can now. But as it was the first time I had ever played it, I was a little on edge.
