I choose prince of persia because you can slow down time and can kill your enimies faster in slow motion.

Prince of Persia. It is what started the genre for me (even if it really isn't). The original PoP was by far the best IMO though, so I'd say that one over Assassin's Creed.

Very tough decision but I prefer AC as you can go more places, even with POP's time control and such.

Personally I reckon Assassin's Creed was better. Assassin's Creed had that element of stealth and different weapons to use in combat whereas Prince Of Persia was focused mostly on acrobatics and very repititive fights with the same four bosses five to six times over. Assassin's Creed had a good ending that left it open to a sequel whereas the ending to Prince Of Persia made you feel as if the game was a waste of time. Granted POP was a fantastic game, I've played it 3 times over, but the ending where you decide to set ahriman free just so Elika can live makes the entire game and everything you achieved along the way incredibly pointless. In terms of sound and graphics, sound in both games is brilliant but I would hope that Prince Of Persia's graphics would be more polished. Assassin's Creed's visuals are beyond amazing, whereas despite Prince of Persia's attempt to make the game look like a living painting, for which I love the look and styling of the graphics in the game, but I had numerous cases of clipping in the visuals for Prince of Persia. On the plus side, both games had amazing draw distance.I've seen gameplay for Assassin's Creed 2 and I'd have to say that everything that I would want to have fixed has been fixed, just check out the 5min demo gameplay. Absolutely amazing. As for Prince of Persia 2, I'm still waiting for news. I'd like a much more expansive story and world to explore as well as a better balance between acrobatics and fighting gameplay. And quite hopefully an ending that actually makes you feel as if everything you did in the game was actually worth it rather than an ending that just takes your last 10hrs of work and throws it out the window.Overall, Assassin's Creed is definitely my prefered title.

Prince of Persia! I don't really think it's better, I just kind of like the story-line and setting better. However, Assassin's Creed was a more dynamic game. It's too close to call.

Ok, I'm throwing the choices down to be betweenPrince Of Persia Sands Of Time Trilogy,Assassins Creed 1 & 2Prince Of Persia (2008)For all the games I say that they all have brilliant storylines, can't wait to see how Assassins Creed and Prince Of Persia '08 continue/conclude.Now personally I say that Assassins Creed is the best. Free roam capabilities, plenty of combat but not too bloated, varied mission types (vastly improved in the 2nd) and the different ways you can complete missions via varied strategies. The Sands Of Time Trilogy had brilliant combat and puzzle solving that made it fun, but it was linear and you had no freedom to explore or experiment with different strategies to complete a mission. Very little attraction to play-through more than once as it would be rinse-repeat and nothing would change.Prince Of Persia '08, had complete free roam, but it was heavy with acrobatics and had barely any fighting. And when you did fight, they were the same enemies over and over. No change in strategy at all for any of the repeated bosses or generic spawn soldiers. To improve on the sequels, keep the same formula but improve on the combat. And.... Introduce difficulty levels. I found the game was too easy considering that you could never die, Elika would always save you. Again, not much incentive to play it more than once unless you're trophy collecting, though close to all the trophies can be earned in a single play-through.So in conclusion I say that though the POP games are vastly fun, but Assassins Creed has the best formula for the best gameplay. Free roam, with a good balance of combat, freedom to explore different ways to complete a mission allowing for non-repititive play-throughs and dozens of side missions to give that extra bit of freedom.

I would have to say Prince Of Persia was way better structured when the original came out.

Definitely assasins creed, but the two have different gameplay styles. Due to the fast pace action style. One being that assasins creed is build in a sand box environment while prince of persia is a more mission type game.

Is the cat in the box alive or dead?

If you open the box, you will know the answer.

You will know the truth.

However, until you open the box, you can claim that the cat is alive, and you can also claim it is dead.

While Assassin's Creed had an amazing world, I enjoyed the story behind Prince of Persia a lot more.

When it is prince vs AC1 its prince but when you its prince vs. AC@ its AC2. AC2 has better gameplay than the first and it changed its mission structure so it didnt fell so repetitive

The graphics seems more vibrant too. Wanted to get the game but heard it's a pretty short game. How long u reckon the game last?
