Yep i tried but its really hard, pokemon is easy because you dont need to press action buttons really fast you can press them whenever you want.

I've done that with Pokemon, too, but that's about it. Imagine playing Super Mario Land or Link's Awakening with one hand. Epic fail!

Maybe this note has been posted before, but I'd like to bring this up:I often play GBA pokemon (sapphire, emerald, ruby) with one hand(Left) because the right hand only is there to press A, B, and R.you only need A, R has limited use in pokemon, and B is just cancel. The L button can be set L=A and thus you got all you need.To cancel, just d-pad to the "no" command and press L to select the cancellation.

I ALWAYS used to do this with turn based games. FFTA, Dragon Warrior games, Pokemon as a kid, you name it, and I've tried it. I absolutely loved my gba; I got it the day it came out. And then my SP as well. One handed was the way to go, especially when you were in the middle of doing one or two things at once haha.

I used to do this all the time! :) It's a useful tactic, but like others have said its pretty much limited to just a few specific instances of usefulness. When the game is one that doesn't require a lot of attention / focus though I definitely do it. One of the times I did it the most was on pokemon games. I loved breeding, which meant I was often on a bike riding up and down in the same area over and over and over. Since I don't need two hands for that at all it was normally something I did absentmindedly while working on doing something else entirely, like pretending to listen to a teacher in class, watch tv, eat, etc. Now that I think about it its kind of sad so much time was consumed by GBA :) but its all good I guess and was definitely a useful tactic! I shudder to imagine trying to do it with some games though! Like I could never manage that in a racing game, or any super mario game really :) My fingers aren't remotely agile enough to compensate for two hands when they're both actually needed. >_> Too bad or i'd totally abuse it and play two games at once! Lol.

You know, I think it would be possible to play "WarioWare: Twisted!!" with only one hand. Difficult for gameplay, but quite possible. You know that game, right?

yeah but then you would need to be able to see both at once and and not have your brain melt from sensory overload >->

i think pokemon is like the only game you can play, i tried advanced wars was easy, also easier if you set your keys to like wasd then no problme http://www.dgemu.com...tyle_emoticons/default/yay.gif

I guess you could do this in some games, but why would you?I can only think of one reason, and I don't find any GBA characters sexy enough for that!..... :X lol

The Yugioh games were pretty easy to play with one hand. any type of turn based game could be done that way. If you want to be courageous try playing a fighter game with one hand. It Hurts.
