I've definitly done it with pokemon, it was easier on the gameboy color though. I've also played finalfantasy tatics one handed, tetris was easy, a trick i found out is to hold the d pad side and then use something to bump the a and b buttons against.

It is easier with the GBA because of the shoulder buttons. It tried it with the DS to and it is harder, not only because of the weight but also because it is hard to move :(

I usually play turn based games with one hand, like Pokemon or Yugioh.

I used to play in one hand and talk with the mobile phone on the other. But this was only in the case of games such as Pokemon which do not requireFast button-pressing.

It doesn't seem very practical to do just because you want to, but if have to do something else with your other hand, like eating, it definitely helps. Or you could switch the controls on your emulator so a one hand approach seems more practical...

Yes, playing Pokemon can be done just with one hand, but do be careful when Pokemon is learning a new move, do look at the screen, see what is being learned, when you click it too quick, the move that was 'forgotten', is gone! I have so many mistakes done this way, I have to turn off the game without saving and replay again.

I'm played several times with one hand, just for fun.
