i prefer the ds lite, because the screen is brighter and the stylus is much easier to hold..

I like the DS lite more. Much more compact and easier to carry around than the first DS. I couldn't even fit the first one in my pockets >_>.

DS -> seems more durable, imo, due to thick size.DS Lite -> thin, so easily fits in my pocket, but does not seem too durable.DSi -> practically like a PSP, except you have a camera and a touch screen. a bit pointless though, no slot-2, not all flash carts will be compatible...DS Lite is what i prefer out of these.

after getting that description, i still like the dslite, and ill stick to that.

I perfer the DS, even thoguh I own A DS Lite. The reasons are simple.1. The DS has a longer battery life. It's true, if you read the DS Lite manual, it states that the DS regular has a longer battery life than the lite, which is an essential thing to me. Battery life is like gold to me, I can't always use my charger.2. The DS is completely backwards compatable.Once again refering to the DS lite manual, no GB color, GB or any such game bellow GBA will work on the DS Lite, unlike the DS original, and to boot, you cannot use the link function on the DS lite for GBA games.3. The DS is sturdier and compnents better protected. The DS lite's microphone is not as well protected as the DS's and the whole system is not as durable on a whole. The pen is easier to lose track of on a DS lite too. (Although I have yet to lose mine)

Well lately i've just seen Shai posting alot of topics. Anyone going to warn him or is that ok? Topic spamming with just a few titles is really lame. I mean why would you do that? Just for some ROMS? Or just for some cool stuff in the gp store?

No point in buying any of those two older DS's now. Especially if there's going to be a whole stack of DSi hanging around by the time I get the opportunity to buy something new.

i chose the DS Lite over DSI. Reason being i just require a game console, the camera function of DSI would be pretty useless to me.

I have an onyx DS lite already.I have seen the DS lite, but I guess I would prefer the NDS lite more because of the GBA slot and the longer battery life. And I would seriously want the special Pokemon edition of the NDS (with Dialga and Palkia engraved on it)
