lol, I have ALL of them, but before I made the stupid decision of collection- I got myself the white DS lite that I used exclusively for 3 years. Then it got lonely.

i was just researching the cuss out of dsi vs. ds lite. from what i gathered ds lite is still pretty strong or was pre-ds3d.the battery life was really my selling point, i had a few flaws the ds i originally had and was looking to upgrade but the hit on battery life and weight i was not ready to try. but like all reviews i've seen, if you have a ds, keep it, if you don't try out the dsi.

I still have a DS Phat, red (it looks pink-ish now), working perfectly, battery life is only like ~3 hrs. 2 chargers: 1 GBA SP and 1 DS Original

Lost the original Stylus, but was lucky to get the last 3-pack in a store a while ago.Also, a guy offered me his broken DSL (the hinge was busted) and 50 USD for it. I refused of course! Cheers!

The first NDS I'd ever had was the DS Phat. In most cases, it seems that children start out with the NDS and move on to the PSP after getting more graphics conscious. For me, I had a double turnaround. I started with the PSP first, then threw out my NDS, then developed an interest for it again. I play both, depending on what games come out, and my mood counts for a lot of it as well.Anyway, to answer the question, I have a NDSL.

I prefer the DS, but I have a DS Lite. And I happen to think the DSi is like the worst idea ever.

DS lite is good enough.I think it's a waste of camera in DSi.You rarely get to use it at all.(Though, I will buy the 3DS some day.)

The DS lite is the most convenient for me, but I kinda like the camera for the DSi~ Too bad some games aren't available for it. >.>

i've had all three types of DS's. BUt i honestly have to say that for the time being...dsi takes the gold. Not because its new or anything...i mean the dsiXL is newer..but i just love the regular dsi. mainly due to the nifty lil camera

i currently have the original ds but its starting to break because i dropped it too many times soim planning on getting a ds lite when i have the time

I'm looking top buy a DS Lite or DSi for my 7 yeard old daughter and 6 year old son. Looks like the DSi might win over due to the neighborhood peer pressure. That being said, are these things pretty sturdy or am I going to have issues with breakage. I assume many of you have these for your kids. Do you see buttons and screens failing much with standard kid use/abuse?Thanks,

The ds lite is the way to go. I dont like the dsi because it has too many unnecessary accessories. Like do you really need a camera on your ds?

First one I got was DS lite. DS lite is brighter and has the longest battery life if i remember correctly. I personally think that DSi is just a waste, and it has no GBA slot...So... Ds lite.
