Yeah, injecting ROMs into another VC game. Unfortunately, a lot of games don't work - including every single game that uses the expansion pack (Majora's Mask, DK64, etc).Unfortunately, there really is no good choice for N64 emulation besides this.

Apparently a video showed up on YouTube showing an improved Wii64 that actually looks decent. The question is, given the timing, is it legit? I'll be keeping an eye on it, because it's suddenly looking very promising.

Well Yes and No me and a friend have come up with an N64 emulator well actually we just improved N64 and it runs about twice as fast as the current one I would be happy to give it to you give me like a week cause he moved and has to get settled and you would have to write a review you know you would be like a tester and it does kinda crash a tad bit more often but I working on that I'll also give you his email his name is Ricky cause he writes the program I optimize the code and take care of bugs and such.

Wii64 Beta 1 is FINALLY released. And from the videos, it looks damn good! It's made some HUGE leaps and bounds from the way it was before.Download: http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Wii64

Wii64 users (Wii build):The emulator can be controlled with any combination of GC controllers, Classic Controllers, and Wiimotes with Nunchuks (sorry, Wiimotes must have nunchuks). See the included readme for details on the controls. You can load ROMs (only uncompressed) and saves from a FAT formatted SD or USB (details on the folders required are in the readme).
