I really liked this game. A lot. And the fact that it was Gamecube exclusive gave me something to shove in the faces of all those Playstation users.I've played the PS1 version, and boy is the Gamecube port a hell of a step up. This game's graphics are incredible and the gameplay itself has been smoothed out a lot, which major flaws fixed to make this elite game that much better. I've only played through two games twice in a row before, and MGS:TS was one of them. Each difficulty setting is like a brand new experience and adds another element of gameplay so that it can be played through multiple times without ever incurring boredom. Plus, the super hard difficulty setting is probably the hardest thing I've ever done in a video game. Not even allowed to be spotted once? Sheesh! Also, you can't forget, the game's freakin' Metal Gear Solid. So you've already got a great story, awesome characters, unique boss-fights, and a slew of other game-enhancing characteristics. The Twin Snakes is the ultimate remake.EDIT: In case it wasn't clear, the GC version is much better than the PS1 version.

twin snakes was a gamecube exclusive (i think) but ps2 got a pack of mgs 1,2&3 recently & all were updated (well i doubt 3 & maybe 2 was because its not that old but 1 was re done)i agree the gamecube version was a step up from ps1 in terms of graphics but the ps1 version was made years before the gamecube one, Konami actually revamped the whole graphics & even the voices were completely re done (every character had the same voice actor except gray fox) i know that because i was reading David Hayter gave up half his pay check for the redone game to get every possible original voice actor back.i hate the gamecube controller so id prefer the ps1 ver. even though its got worse graphics its the original & its kinda more special if you grew up playing it.

I liked them boath. The only scenes that I didn't like was when Snake dodges the tank....I miss that one and I miss the psychic session where Psycho mantis says "you like playing Castlevania don't you?!" Other then that I was all on board.

definitely the gamecube version. i play games for storyline and with the gamecube, you were actually able to see the character's expressions during cutscenes. it just game more life to the game in general.

Well, in a way it's better then the origional sense it brings several things to the game that are present in the later Metal Gear games but wasn't in the origional(the aiming thing being one of them), but the gameplay wasn't change to compensate, making it way easier then it had to be(think Ocelot battle).
