I just got told off a friend that there is going to be a Halo 4. This seems to be a mad rumouor and I doubt it to be true but the hoesty of it is he doesnt usually wind me up and quite often has scoops before the rest of the world know about it. ANyone any idea ?

Next round of consoles?! I must be falling behind in the times... I haven't even heard of a next round of consoles or even a Halo 4... What else is left in the Halo series? The Flood take over everything?! And only Master Chief (Spartan) can take them out?!

You'd be surprised at how much Halo Wars manages to pull of it's own little FPS scene actually. Just from playing the Demo it is basically a micromanagement First Person Shooter. Build yer squad and off you go laying the smackdown to the covenant. I honestly have to admit, my favourite part of the game is rounding up a battallion of Warthogs, and just ordering them around; they drive and powerslide just like in it's big brothers games.It's alright, but strategy is not my cup of tea. I prefer FPS.

I might give it another try, I played for a little while and it bored me. Yeah, I suppose the aspect of having to make sure that your troops are doing the right thing/going in the right direction might get a little dodgy but when they do, the firefights are amazing and it's a barrel of fun just building up an army thrice the size of your opponents right at the start. Gets you in the mood for some world domination... Anyone?

The Halo 4 rumor is not just a rumor but a fact. They are working on developing it right now but will probably not come out with the game till about 2012ish..so a long way away

Halo 3:ODST is the next in the series as it details what happened to New Mombasa in Halo 2. As for a game following Halo 3 sequentially, we will probably have to wait until the next generation of consoles

There is going to be an 'expansion' it's called Halo 3 : ODST or something like that. It's where you play as a shock trooper instead of Master chief. and what i hear is that the online capabilities for this will be able to blend with Halo 3

Not another halo game... Honestly, why does everyone love these games so much? they were cool for a little bit but the concepts they add arn't that different from the previous games. I'm not too psyched to be seeing a 4th halo personally.

Absolutely completely a rumor. No such thing there will never be a halo 4. Halo wars? Yes. But NO Halo 4.

Know that Halo 4 is not Halo Wars, it will be titled Halo ODST (Orbital Drop Ship Trooper). It will be a little more of a stealthy approach to the Halo Universe as opposed to Master Chief "run and gun" style focusing on gathering different intel on the Covenant.

A Halo 4 would be interesting, but I highly doubt it is true. Maybe the Halo 4 you heard about was Halo 3: ODST? If there were a Halo 4, it would have to find ways to add new things to the gameplay over Halo 3.
