I seriously doubt a titled named Halo 4 will ever be created.Now, a Halo that continues the story after Halo 3 is possible, but I'm %99.9 they will not call it Halo 4.

Bungie Stated that they will not be making a Halo 4 and if anyone else tries it will be a totally EPIC faiL.

I say let a great series end in its prime. We don't need a Halo 4. Its extremely unlikely that they can top the storyline that Halo 1-3 told, and it most likely would not live up to the hype or the standard of the previous games. Now yes, there will probably be more spin-offs and tie-ins, but a Halo 4? Not likely.

Last I heard, the Master Chief trilogy is over, but that never mentioned not making a Halo 4.

same here i believe there will be a halo 4 (because really its making microsoft millions) but i dont think halo 4 will come out soon thow probly in like 1 to 3 years............. well any way halo 3 still rocks and im pwning noobs lol well best of luck halo fans i wish the same as you. This is so strange we were just discussing Halo and the ending in Halo 3 and if you complete it in the hardest setting you get an extended ending... Master Chief is left standing on a planet after the explosion so he's NOT dead... So this could give you another Halo oh that would be awesome I hope so Halo is one of my favourite game series. (Yes I am a girl)

Halo 3: ODST is coming out Sept. 22 2010 with a new mode called firefight. It's like the classic zombie survival game where you kill through waves. Similar, also to horde mode of Gears of War 2. Unlike either modes, you're not fighting zombies or locusts, but covenant.The Halo Reach Beta comes with that and it will be the next game to come out after ODST.The only reason I am adding this is because this page appears not to have these details do not seem to have been posted yet.

Bungie said that Halo 3 was the last of the Halo "trilogy". They could easily make another game in the same universe at roughly the same time as the Halo games, just have a different focus (i.e. not the Halo constructs). They could make a game about the Covenant, the other Forerunner constructs, Spartans, etc. since those wouldn't be "Halo". Just my 2 cents.

wait, so halo 4 if it is going to be made is not going to be produced by Bungiee?It is much more than a rumor. Microsoft has already chosen a developer for the game. Gearbox (Brothers in Arms) is set to develop Halo 4 for the next round of consoles. Of course next to nothing is actually known about anything regarding this. But you can rest assured that there will be another Halo game in the main series. M$ isn't going to let a cash cow like that get away, especially with the current US economy.

haha nope, that game is just a random halo game made by broken off Microsoft which bungiee would have never made because it isnt a firts person shootem up like all of there other games. that game is like call of duty world at war, made by some other company not activision.ya, i agree, and doesnt halo wars count as halo 4? lol

If you ask me, I would basically consider Halo: Reach to be Halo 4. It's going to be the last Halo game developed by Bungie, and it's looking like it's probably going to be a first-person shooter.I expect it to be different than the first 3 Halo games, but not so different that it's like ODST - something completely different.
