I think that the "love at first sight" stuff is probably only fictional. It may have been the product of someone who has a very creative imagination. I think the probability of loving someone at first sight is around one in a billion... But, attraction at first sight is possible...

definitely not. You might think it is, and who knows, eventually it might be. But, it takes more than a couple of seconds to form a genuine love for somebody.

I'm a bit of a romantic so I would like to believe in it. But I suppose it's not really very realistic, seeing as you wouldn't know anything about the person so they could turn out to be a psycho.

Modern of Traditional world, it has nothing to do with Love. I had mine when I saw a girl I didn't know AT ALL in school, and the year after we were close for a year. Then she forgot me. I know it's not really 'Love at First Sight,' but it lasted for a year, so it kinda still qualifies.not me how is that possible in the modern world.

Considering 1 in 5 relationships now start from online services I'm going to say that no love at first sight is not real. Has it ever been real? Probably not in the past either.

There is crush at first sight, but not love. The fundation of love is trust, you cannot trust someone at firstsight so love is out of the picture. Love comes much later.

I'm a hopeless romantic and I admit that, but I don't believe in love at first sight. I believe in lust at first sight, if you're attracted to them that's great but love? You can't fall in love just by looking at someone. I do however believe in falling for someone in the first few conversations you have with them

I agree with you there, lucy.There can always be some attraction at first sight but you really don't fall in love until a bit more interaction. Or that's how I see it, I'm not very experienced right now. 16 isn't that old.Then again, you can read a lot of a person't personality from a little observation, But probably not the *first observation.So, No love at first sight.Edit: I just thought of something. What about arranged marriages? Love pre-first sight?

I've never had love at first sight.Now, love at first conversation, that's another story. There are moments in a persons life where you talk to someone you think is attractive, but then their overwhelmingly great personality is what seals the deal.Lust is looks.Love is conversation.

I honestly have never seen taht in real life either. I had a dream about a girl one time which inspired me to "like" her. The dream was really weird because she turned out to be how she was in the dream... It was so cool.
