Have bought my pokemon ranch from wii channel shop but cannot get my ds to connect using r4 card with either pokemon diamond or pearl. Is it possible to do this?

i think they detected the R4 program after the launch of thousands of DS games, but b4 they actually launched Pokemon Ranch. It might be that Pokemon Ranch is capable of blocking flash carts like R4. It might also be that due to most flash carts being developed after DS but b4 Wii, they installed a program to block all contact to the Wii. Can't think of anything else.
Should I feel bad if I want everything to become ice cream?

Most DS flashcards CAN'T connect to the Wii. I haven't been able to find a list of which ones can but I have found may people complaining that the R4 CAN'T.If you want to connect to the Wii you will have to buy another flashcard or a legit copy of the game.Have bought my pokemon ranch from wii channel shop but cannot get my ds to connect using r4 card with either pokemon diamond or pearl. EDGE CARD DS can. My brother connected his Pokemon Platinum on it to PKMN Battle Revolution to get the surfing Pikachu. Incompatibilty in softwares maybe the case.
