maybe the reason they wont do it because there is already a digimon mmorpg and digimon game play is more fun than pokemon no offence.. and besides nintendo is a hand held console gaming company not a mmorpg.

I just don't see the likelihood of an MMORPG on the DS, at all. There really isn't much power in that device, as much as I like it. Perhaps in the future though, after Nintendo goes through a few more evolutions for their handhelds.But I'd really like to see an MMORPG based on TWEWY though, since the concept of the game is totally asking for true multiplayer gameplay.

Anyone tried Ragnarok online ds yet?? I doubt it can run greatly on ds. Even maple story is cancelled...

I tried to play the Korean Ragnarok Online game on my no$gba emulator, and it doesn't seem to work... :dance:Made a character and saved a file, but I can't seem to get it to START.I will have to check later if it'll work on my DS.I heard the Japanese one works somewhat, but I can't play the Japanese one cause I can't read Japanese... :gs:Edit: The Japanese one, with an English patch, works wells on no$gba.

If nintendo put a lot of effort into MMO's, I'm sure gamers would start getting back into their stuff. I mean the only other good hand-held is the PSP.It definitely seems like a good idea.

Final Fantasy or Ragnarok! should be perfect for a MMORPG on the NinDS.Both games has a long history and a wide set of different classes and worlds so it perfect ;P

Nones mentioned Phantasy Star Zero, i think the translated version is coming out next month which will be fun. I liked PSO:BB and a portable MMO will be great (But not for the battery life lol )And i think the DS has a 2mb connection well thats as fast as i've seen mine go

yeah, pokemon RPG would be the ****.All the zones and stuff would randomly spawn pokemon (the rarer ones would be Elite)you can team up with a party,youre pokemon can do stuff like fix a bridge with some vines....And MAYBE actually have some challenging fights.I'm all for it!Honestly though, i hope it's on PC, not Wii

Making a MMORPG for the DS would be a huge success. you can play anywhere there is wifi and would work great for games like Pokemon golden sun Zelda etc.. The game I would want the most to see a MMORPG made for is Pokemon I have no idea why Nintendo hasn't made one yet it would be perfect.you travel the world and fight Pokemon and other players all online what could be better.What games would you like to see made into an MMORPG

to things prevent a MMORPG from ever being made for the DS1.) the DS/DSL has a 5kb/s wireless speed (not sure how fast the dsi is)2.) action replay cheats would be easily used to cheat. Maybe if it was DSware AR codes wouldn't work hmm...

The biggest downfall of having a MMO on the NDS would be the cost of hosting servers. Though in theory it sounds great, but wouldn't be really profitable for game companies.
