PSP as a ps3 controller would be good and money-saving for sony loving individuals. otherwise, it'd be a loss for sony if they let people use a ps3 to play psp games, and vice versa. they need to make money on consoles.

I think it would be cool to be able to play PSP games on the big screen with your PS3. Controller functionality should be supported as well.

Using the PS3 to play PSP games would be quite great. I know it ruins the point of the PSP being "PORTABLE", but think of how you'll actually be able to appreciate the games on a wider screen. Of course, this shouldn't be done with games that have graphics that look horrible stretched out.

I own both a PSP and PS3 - being able to use the psp as an extra controller would be great - especially if extra information could be shown on the psp screen, e.g. map for a racing game

I'd like it if you were able to use your psp as a controller. Also it would also be cool if you were able to play all your psp games on the ps3. It would be like merging the two only for a bit because a psp is made to be a hand-held

I don't understand why you'd want to use a PSP as a PS3 controller, what's wrong with the controllers the PS3 already have? They're lighter, they do sixaxis and are also wireless.I thought it was quite cute being able to use the PSP as a rearview mirror, but tbh even that was gimmicky and didn't really add anything to the game.

*Playing PS3 with PSP*Quick just throw a grenade with R2. *looks at psp* There is no R2!!?!? *Bam! gets killed*Sorry the idea of using it for a controller is decent, but it just would not work that well. Personally I think it would be better to run the psp threw the ps3 so that way you get a big screen for psp games if you want to play your psp at your house (or someone else's who owns a ps3).

yeah! i wish the PSP's next release is with an additional 2 analog stick w/ L2, and R2, that would be great for games with lots of additional controls. anyway using PSP as a controller is not good coz it lacks some buttons like L2,L3,R2, and R3... still it could be cool

as far as i know it is possible to use the psp as a controller, go to the remote play option on your ps3. I think thats what that function is.

I think that the PSP should be able to play its games on the PS3 because it would be a bit nicer to see the game on a larger screen.

I can see your thinking and it could be a good idea but its not something Sony would be interested in because they could loose out and surely the whole point in the PSP anyway is that its a hand held?

One thing about PSP as a controller, you needn't stare at the TV all da time..!! So what if someone's blocking your view..? You've got a screen at your PSP..!!

It would be nice if the remote play functionality worked for more of the PSN games, but overall I don't think it's necessary. What would be nice would be if the PS3 could somehow emulate the PSP so it would allow people without a PSP to purchase UMD legacy games from the PS store.
