When I was young I thought if I slept with my hair wet, the next morning, it would all fall off.

When I was younger I though that if you ate those fruit gusher things, your head would turn into a fruit like in the commercials. ;)

I believed in alot of stuff, mostly trolls and if you were bad they would come to get you. Thank you TV for my nightmares. Trolls are common in the swedish folklore btw. The toothfairy, the carebears, santa, the grinch (also from TV), mermaids and my favorite; be good and you will be treated good. The last one is still stuck though :)

Not necessarily something I believed myself, but whenever we went to restaurants, I would convince my sister (two years younger) that whenever she got soda, all she had to do was push those little circular tab things to change the type of soda. The thing is, you could only pick once, and before she ever got a chance to push one down, I would push down the tab that described the soda she had already bought!Man, I'm soooo evil. Hah.

When I was a kid(probably 4?), I actually believed that I can be a power ranger. As I remember it now, I somehow want to mock myself. I was so funny.

The usual myths: toothfairies, Santa, the stork and that whistling at night would cause spirits to haunt you! :Khrs:

Try typing the word "fa!l" on dgemu when posting, it appears as succeed. Spell it properly though, F-A-I-L without the dashes, doh!

Well, I also believed that I can also have spiderman's powers if I got bit by a spider. (which means that I thought i could jump from building to building and not die.) mahn, that was silly.

I thought for the longest time that if you ate a watermelon seed, it would grow in your stomach. I learned that from an episode of Rugrats. Ah, good times.

Well, because I had an elder sibling and really liked Pokemon when I was a kid, I used to believe that when I grew up my name would change. If only evolution worked like that, hurr hurr hurr.

the most silly things i believed as a kid came from movies because i thought they were live documentaries. i thought that there was an actual island of dinosaurs (jurassic park) and when i saw the second movie, i was afraid a trex was gonna somehow roam its way from cali to ny. i thought that jack dawson was a real person and that he came back from the dead after he drowned after titanic (saw Titanic and then a trailer for his new movie a few days later. i kept wondering how he came back from the dead). i thought there was really an asteroid coming to end all life on earth (Armageddon). Chucky dolls would come to life and murder me (Child's Play). Playing some games would bring stuff into the real world (Jumanji). That was most of my fears. I knew cartoons weren't real because they looked drawn. I never cared for star wars because it didn't take place on earth. But then i grew up and learned that it was all a lie.

I personally used to believe that such a thing as a Coco existed, and was out to get children who weren't in bed by a certain time.I also remember believing that rain was caused by God's sorrow, after witnessing such heinous events here.I also used to believe I could telepathically communicate with friends and family members like in DBZ.
