I would really recommend this game, it can take a while to get the hang of controlling the animals (I still keep accidentally dropping them in water which even the ducks hate!) and growing the plants but when the piece of land you are working on is happy and thriving it is worth it.The fun really begins when the larger animals move in and you have to keep them happy or they will eat the smaller ones you have been patiently nurturing, it is also fun finding out that something you are growing encourages something else to grow, wierd maybe but I really enjoy seeing what may crop up next.So yes it is a good game.

This is one of the game that my son is eager to get. He's told me the last couple of weeks to get it for him. He only asks me to get new game for him if he sees it's good so I think this is a good one. By the way, he is 8

I actually prefer a Sim game without animals because its hard to manage your Sim along with your pet. ._.

Ha - original poster. I actually know (as in work with) the artist who did the pixel apple you're using as your avatar. >_> Firstfear on Deviantart. I always find it wild when I run across her work elsewhere. Anyway. /offtopicSimAnimals is a game I've been looking forward to playing since I heard about it. It sounds a bit like several games I really enjoyed. I hope the 'camera' is good. That's something I always worry about with games like this.
