In the near future I will be hosting some xbox live tournaments for DGEMU members. My question to you all, what type of games do you want the tournaments to be? So far I am thinking SF4 SC4 Halo3 and DOA4 since they will allow us to view the matches. These tournaments will have DPs rewards for 1-3 place.

kiza, I like the idea of tourneys. I guess I'll eventually will have to get a 360...still debating on it at the moment. Oh, I don't know if you saw my other post but I saw your post about the tourney in another area of the forum. I had asked if there would be any tourneys for the pc version of SFIV? If so, let me know, I'd love to join that.

If I can get a copy for pc and they allow for viewing of matches I don't see why we couldn't work something out. The main reason that I am holding off right now is that I am waiting for the update this month which will allow me to not only view matches but record them as well.When you get an xbox let me know. Right now I am still debating a date for this tournament, I am going to be moving in a few weeks so I might make this tourney take place at the end of April. If you have any ideas for any other games that you all want me to host tourneys for please let me know. The rest of the staff myself have been racking our brains to try and find ways to make this site not only more interactive but foster a stronger sense of community. So these tourney don't belong to me they belong to you all.

Yes, I plan on having some tourneys finalized by the end of next month since I will be gone for most of April. Unless Kiza feels up to doing it as early as he feels like.

Well the plan is to attract members that actually have a brain and enjoy using it, much unlike the majority of the current members. I can say this because the idiots I am talking about will be too busy spamming for GP to read this post.

My plan is to have the first tournament by the end of April. Once I begin registration I am going to make an elimination tree so that everyone can chart the tourney. I know how big of a time drain a tournament can be when done all at once so I will likely space out the various rounds.Edit: I have decided to make the first game Soul Caliber 4 if you want to participate please send me a pm so I can start working on the tournament. We will host the tournament at the end of the month. The winner will receive DPs as their prize. Custom outfits will be allowed but we will be playing without added effects.

just lemme kno wat games its going to be...im a beast at halo 3 so dont just hand it over to me...id like to kno the games because halo 3 is all i own ill rent the games need for the tourney at the appropriate time

In the near future I intend to expand upon my tournament idea. When I do so I am going to make a thread asking what games people would like. For the first one I want to do a fighting game due to the spectator mode (we can have other people watch the fights for judging but also to help everyone get to know each other). That is why I chose Soul Caliber 4. The next tournament will be a shooting game but I still have to decide which one. I may have a whole forum setup for the tournaments since I ultimately want to expand this into ps3, pc and xbox360.

Damerit if you want a tournament for a game then please make a poll for that game. If there is enough interest we will look into hosting one .

You are welcome to make a CODWW tournament. Just make a poll and see what kind of response you see. When you think you have enough people I will try to help you host it.
