Having played Pokemon semi-competitively, Swampert is probably the best, but you have to be careful of random grass-type Hidden Powers (other grass attacks are obvious).

i really like charizard. I love how the pokemons personality was portrayed in the show. But i think a cool pokemon is scyther. Too bad hes a bug type. If he had different abilities he would be really cool.

any of the bulbasaur evolution are my favs, i really dont know why but i only like the grass pokemon. Bulb, Ivy and Venusaur being my fav.

The beldum line and deoxys. I like futuristic kinds of things. I would say the regi, but they don't have that futuristic feel.

I vote Tyrannosaur from Gold/Silver (did I spell it right?). He can kill a full-stats Lvl.100 Mewtwo easily with the correct skill combo. He's also semi-rare, apparently. Not many people bother to catch him and raise him from scratch.
