Any ideas on what is going to happen with this game? Will it still involve the same characters? What are your ideas?

Well, at the end of the first game there were a lot of "clues" from the previous guy who was held there. There are a lot. You should figure them out, it's fun. I love brain teasers and stuff, ha ha. I even got my dad in on it making him help me figure the stuff out. Okay, now I'm rambling. ANYWAYS, you ca also look online to see what all the clues mean. Rumor has it (or just one person thinks this, but I believe too) is that the second game is supposed to take place somewhere else on the world cause there is another artifact thingy. The clue's kind of point to other places.

after E3 some new things about AC2 came to light, like desmond gets to live in his ancestors again, but this time its not altair, its an italian guy who doesnt start as an assassin but gets pulled into it by an unfortunate event. this new assassin in desmond's past can swim, fly using an invention by a well known artist, and even pull of double assassinations with two hidden blades, and in a video it looks like he can also shoot his hidden blades for even more stealthy kills. not only that, but he can steal weapons from his enemies, who are more than just guys with swords. there are different classes of enemies with different strengths and weakness to figure out. but dont be scared off and go hide in a hay stack just yet, because there are some enemy units who will search hiding spots, by sticking pointy things into it, although the assassin can now pull off kills in hiding spots now as well. needless to say this game is going to be far better than the original and i cannot wait for this game to come out.

Well it is one of the better looking games I saw in E3 the new settings is a nice change but I love Leonardo De Vinci can give you his invention how cool is that. Here is a small trailer on the game:
