I've been wondering its been 5-6 years since Lost Age..now are they going to make Golden Sun 3 for the Wii? It would be really good as if youve played previous games you should expect nothing less than a great game and repetitive playing. But they might add motion control but maybe not alot of it like..Attack! and you just swing like your swinging a sword but it would still be a good game. But it might be for the DS as the DS can play GBA games with the GBA slot and they could transfer.

golden sun on the wii is going to be wicked with the motion sensor but unreasonable. golden sun on the ds is thinkable and it doable so it works ether way.

Either would be amazing! Why in the world haven't they made one yet?The Wii allows more graphics freedom but the DS is more manageable. I know! They should make both! One follows Issac' story, the other follows Felix. You could bring the two together via WiFi and trade items from one to the other, give each other weapons, dijinn, and materials. They could end up with completely different endings, meet totally different bosses, introduce new characters. One could go and challenge Alex (Felix) and the other could go and fight some brand new threat (Issac). Maybe the world is still deteriorating and Issac with his new God-like powers has to save everyone. "How" you ask? He can use "Push" and save the day!Seriously, why haven't they made a game for either new-gen system? They are missing out on huge money!

they could do either: if they make it for DS they can take all the DS functions and wield them, as well as DS wireless battles and using GS 1 and 2 for added content. If for Wii then they can take advantage of those features as well. But...What if they had it on both. then there's twice the fun at the price of one! (If you know what i mean. If you don't, then think about this website!.... AH!)They could make the two interlink with each other. Just hopefully not in the pokemon style :)

as much as I would like to see it on the Wii, a new Golden Sun would make more sense and prolly sell better on the DS. As it stands most of your good RPGs this gen are on handhelds rather than consoles. And considering GS1 and 2 were on the GBA that's even more evidence that it would prolly be the DS.

Yeah, I think it should stay on DS.I mean, there are key things to consider;First of all, one of the things that made Golden Sun extremely popular were the near-3D visuals on a game system that plays 2D games. That's what made it impressive. And even though the Wii would make the 3D effects spectacular, it would be nothing new in comparison to other fantasy RPG games. That, and if it was on the Wii, I don't really see how a turn-based select-a-move game could really use the Wii remote. They'd have to change the entire core idea of the Golden Sun game series to pull that off, and that is a pretty risky thing to do.

well, the only thing i can say is after being a devoted fan to FF games, i dont really like how if you defeat an enemy in GS, then anyone else attacking it is rendered useless. that was the only gay thing about GS i disliked. everything else... WOOT!

As soon as I finished Golden Sun 2 I began praying for a Golden Sun 3. I mean, they even set up for it with Alex's survival in question. But yeah it would be best on the DS. Some kinda transfer system would rock.

The series should stay in handhelds because that's where they best belong. I think the future golden sun games (if there will be any) will also stay in DS or in future handhelds. I don't think we'll ever see one for a console.Of course, before they started on it, they did plan on making it for N64, but I guess they found out that it's better if it were handheld.

I found this on wikipedia! Golden Sun DS, however, was confirmed at the Electronic Entertainment Expo on June 2nd, 2009. The release is scheduled for 2010.

I think the fact that Golden Sun DS was going to be released for the DS is old news by now. But no harm done in letting more new people know about the game.

My belief is that GS would definitely sell better on Wii (because DS games are like 50-60 dollars AUS and Wii games are like 100 dollars AUS).I'd very much like to see GS come out in a timeless realm on the Wii. Like a WoW version of GS exclusive to Wii. That way nintendo can promote the Wii as an action console (along the lines of a good Wii game), get a decent if not the best intended RPG for the Wii and people can utilise Wii remote actions for our favourite Psynergies like Move, Cure, Frost, Force etc. with unique movements of the nunchaku!Man, Golden Sun is the best nintendo idea ever, followed closely by the LoZ and Metroid Series (my opinion anyway)

I would like to have seen it on the Wii. Better graphics and texture. But it coming to the DS doesn't disappoint me, can't wait for next year.
