You basically described all RPG's up to around 2004. and still many do that, just accept that you can't save afterwards and do a "harder mode" as some games do ex. FFX-2. Have you ever played the shadow hearts series? there are 2-3 endings per game, the game doesn't let you save afterwards so that you can see the other endings (if you can get the other requirements) If you want clear data then then you ought not be playing RPGs...but speaking of Shadow Hearts, I loved the endings for those games. Despite discrepancies of what endings are "true" to the series. (i usually get the true ending anyway, except in SH, i lacked a requirement) Koudelka has a very confusing ending sequence, where the bad ending is the true ending and the good ending is the false and the fail ending is the player just sucks.I don't think i've encountered an ending I hated for a game, maybe A series of Unfortunate Events. I still wonder why my mom wasted a Christmas present for my brother on a 4.5 hr game that was 50 bucks...I don't dislike a games ending unless it is one of those situations where you are in an area you cannot leave and you cannot save the clear data afterward. The game that comes to mind most clearly would be Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean. You spend all game getting great cards and getting strong only to not be left with any of it if you win. No clear data no continuing. Just a lantern and a wing picture. Lame. Other than that, I have little problem with the ways that games end nowadays.

ye i started to play all parts and i'm at part 2 atm :)i was glad i had all parts so i could play them asap :foldarms:so i agree 100% with you ._.best ending: golden sun, and newer ff games ;Dthe most unsatisfying ending for me would be halo because you don't know what's going to happen next, you know something's going to happen and you really want to know but you can't and it kills you inside because you don't know
