The first was very fun the first time through, but it was possibly the most repetitive game I have ever played in my life. If they change anything at all in the second, I am hoping that there is at least some reason to replay it.

i enjoyed the first one (yet i thought that it wasnt really replayable also)i hope the second one will be a little morel like fable 2 of Fallout 3 where you have the ability to be a different character everytime you play based on the choices you make etc.

Dude, I got so excited after reading the GameInformer article... it looks awesome. And with all the new features (water :>) it should be much better then the original. The main thing, that I didn't like, about the first game is that it was kind of repetitive, but still fun I guess. Do you know how many games are supposed to be in the series though? Hmm... I wonder. Oooh, and hopefully there will still be Desmond with his new-found assassins "power" that we can use.

Dude, this game is going to be awesome. An added bonus if you know some European history, it should make the game more interesting.

why is it going to be awesome? all we know as of right now is that it has good graphics, which was pretty much the only good thing about the last one, and Assassins Creed did well, too well for what it was, there probably going to barely improve it at all, just make a new map and story with the same basic game play and make a ton of money off a relatively bad game all over again and ppl like you just help it alongDude, this game is going to be awesome. Assassin's Creed 2 ? I haven't even played part one yet. Well I'll be sure to look out for it in the commercials. I'm sure it'll be way better than part one too?

I got the flags in masaf (sp) and I was excited to hear that the main thing being updated in the second is a less repetitive gameplay!

YAY! Italy! That should be an interesting location to do all the acrobatics. I'm unsure how Italy was back in the day but whatever. The new outfit is just as cool as the old one.

I'll admit that the first Assassins Creed game wasn't great, but I liked it nevertheless. I wouldn't say it's one of my top games, but it was enjoyable. Assassins Creed II "looks" awesome because of the new fighting moves, the ability to swim (finally! I mean, seriously, what assassin can't swim?), the Da Vinci add-on, VENICE, and the deletion of the collectable poos (no offense to those of you who liked that). Hopefully it will be a big jump upward from the first title.Edit: It looked cool on E3 too.
