A dragon. Cliche as all get out, but in almost every media they've appeared in, they've been portrayed as desruction itself given flesh. Even the dragon thing from Neverending story fits into that category. Well not really.

I didn't read all the other posts, but I assume its a common choice. But I really love dragons. Sometime around HS i just fell in love with them. I think Chinese dragons are better than European ones, but all in all, I still like a good dragon pic if people take the time to put a good effort into it.

I'd like a dragon, but for the problems with meshing with reality I'd prefer having a fire lizard like in the Pern series.

I'd choose a dragon. Cliche, I know, but I'd have the ultimate weapon. It'd be able to toast all of my enemies, (not that I currently have any but it'd be good insurance), their hide is extremly tough, it could provide me with wise council and it could fly me anywhere. Werewolf or Vampires, these creatures in truth are more interesting because their wild nature is more predominant, but doesn't mean would take over the structural nature of one's mind.

I would choose either a dragon or griffin. Ever since reading Eragon, I've loved dragons 
Griffins because they're a mix of my fave animals; lions, eagles, and a little bit of dragon, I think.

If I could have a Mythical Animal, I would have to choose a dragon. Yes, I know it's a cliche answer. But just think about it. Claws, Teeth, Fire-Breathing, Flying, Blends In Anywhere, and Is Recognizable the World over for being awesome and powerful. Someone sees you walking up with a Dragon, they aren't going to mess with you.

Actually its a serpant which is the other part. But yea, awesome creature.As for myself, hands down it would be a silver dragon. It has been as such since my childhood. If it were possible for mythical creatures to exist, a silver dragon is my pick. For one, its a dragon. 'Nuff said. Also, as far as I've known and from what I believe I've read in the D&D Dracomicon (spelling?) Silver dragons tend to be the most civil of dragon races and often take form of humans or whichever race they want to move among and blend in, with a few tell tale hints of their true form. Now how cool would that be? Hang with my dragon friend, play games, hang out places, etc. Someone starts something with us? *Bam* friend goes dragon on the trouble maker, problem solved. Plus what all the others have said; fire breathing, flying places, wise advice, intellectual conversations, etc.I would choose either a dragon or griffin. I'm at a split between dragon, phoenix, or a siren. Dragon - Fire, Blades, Invulnerability to almost all attacks from the front, and well it's an imposing creature. Phoenix - Regal, Flaming, Lives forever, cool all around.Siren - We all know why I put that there.

i would want a Hydra because that would make me want to have a pool and keep intruders away from my pool. I know the hydra is useless on land, but i wouldn't need a boat, i can live out my Pokemon dreams and go to other countries on days opposed to a week.

In China, there's a Pixiu, which looks like a winged lion. It's especially cool since it can attract wealth from all directions to it. And money ain't a bad thing to have.

I'd probably choose pheonix as well, sure it would cause a lot of problems like possibly burning my house down, but it would just be so nice to look at all the time, and you wouldn't have to deal with it dying all the time like most other pets.
