That's right. One of the best RPGs of all time, Lunar - The Silver Star, is being remade for the PSP! So far there are some scans from Famitsu on the Japanese release. Here's to hoping for a US release!

Wow, I was totally excited when I saw the news for this remake. I really wanted to play this game after Eternal Blue, but never got a chance to. Now that there's a remake of Silver Star Story, I can't wait to get my hands on it. And hopefully, it wouldn't be as bad as the one on the DS.

I haven't played this RPG ever, and unfortunately I've never even heard of it before this thread. But the screens look very good, I am in need of a good RPG for a handheld system... the latest rpgs for PSP have been weak to say the least... I honestly don't think it'll make it to the US though, I don't know why I say thisGo persona remake to PSP then!!

Oh man, the Lunar games are great RPGs. Classic anime type stuff from the Sega CD era. But also found on the PSX.Crimson Gem Saga is coming out for the PSP soon, and that's a pretty good RPG. I played the "Engrish" translation from the Korean release.

Use to have lunar silver star complete for psx (got from walmart when they use to have box set games for $60) (way back in the day lol)And personally never liked the series a little boring for me... always preferred games like tales of series, Star Ocean and more inventive series like Baiten KaitosClosest thing to a trad RPG i like was golden sun :gs:Oh and obviously breath of fire (best game series in history imo) Wish they would remake bof4 never got to beat it :rolleyes:last area I played was when you had to follow the birds (let friend borrow to get past it for me and he moved

I first heard about this on the gamestop website! The speculated release dated for Lunar - Silver Star Harmony (according to gamestop of course. No official announcements that i've heard of), it will be in mid December! However, seeing as the release date for Japan is Nov 12th, i'll probably assume that the date posted will be pushed back. It'd be incredible if they could translate the entire game within that amount of time and get it ready to be released in the US.Btw: Eternal Blue is awesome too~ I do hope they continue and also port Eternal Blue for the PSP. Dragon Song needs to be shot and the GBA remake was super pathetic. Needs to be a TRUE 3rd series of the Lunar series!

Can't wait for this to come out.I played the game a while back on the GBA but never actually finished it.I'll probably grab it for PSP when it comes out.Hopefully they'll also port the sequel afterwards!

It sure looks like this game is shaping up to be quite something. Evidence that the countless remakes they are making for games is not as bad as people say it is. P.S. Still very psyched for this game.
