Don't let your head get too big, dingo. =\But yes, you're right, Gurugu Volcano was also in the original FF, as was Ice Cavern, and Castle Pandemonium was in Final Fantasy II (NES), although some translated versions have it spelled Pandaemonium. Then again, the main translation for FFIX also called the volcano Mount Gulug. I'm giving you both the points, because xxdracko is right, in one of the original fan translations of the NES version, it was called the Sea of Jade. I wanted the original origins of the bosses, and that would of course be from other FF games (FF quiz, hello!). So this is exactly what I was looking for, except for the fact that the names of the bosses were added:
