Should I feel bad if I want everything to become ice cream?

None of the metroid games were long, maybe with the exception of Metroid Prime. I passed most of them in under four hours. But I, too, hope that this game will be long enough.Looks pretty interesting, hopefully it's a long game at least with good puzzles like other Metroid games. As long as those traditional Metroid elements are there, graphics don't bother me...

The story of Other M takes place between Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion (Fusion is currently the last game chronologically). The guy who says "Any objections, lady?" is the CO that Samus was talking about in Fusion, Adam Malkovich. One scene in the trailer also shows the baby Metroid from Super Metroid saving Samus. So if you thought the story was convoluted it seems they're going to be patching it up and making it easier to understand by actually filling in a connection between the games. On to the topic itself. I think Other M looks absolutely awesome. It seems to shift between first person for most movement and exploration and it switches to third person so Samus can get off those wicked deathblows or scripted "Indiana Jones running away" sequences. Day one buy for sure.I enjoyed nearly every Metroid game there is, and this one looks amazing as well. The only problem I forsee is keeping the story in line with the other Metroid games, especially with games like Metroid: Fusion making it that much more confusing. I just hope it doesn't end up as convoluted and unexplained as the Legend of Zelda series.
