well,i'm in shells 1-2 connection,in the part that i need to use the psg-1. i'm playing in the hard mode,and i already took out 11 control units.where is the last one?

I'm not sure which one you're looking for, and it's been a long time since I played, but if I remember correctly, there was two I had trouble getting in hard mode. One under the sub where you first come in, the other in the bathroom, top right corner of the mirrors.Note: like i said, its been a long time. If i am wrong, sorry.

^Nah, you're referring to the c4 bombs in each Strut. That's the mission given to you by Peter Stillman.
