do you remember back in the day like 1996 or something before toonami failed.........lol when tom evolved but the show devolved....you remember the shows tenchi and outlaw star, gundam wing etc etc. they were the paragons of childhood dreams lolwell i was a fan back then. i watched it and i thought to myself....maybe everything's going to be ok! tell me alittle about it. your opinion, the shows you liked back then, or the generally good memories they made.

I used to love Toonami. But what I liked better were the midnight run, and the old way Adult Swim was. I used to sit up at night watching crappy late night cable just to see Gundam and Cowboy Beebop uncensored. I liked Toonami better when Moltar was the host though. But he was still cooler then, than he is now.

i hear you......but your the only person that heard me! i wonder if there was any violent death scenes in gundam.I used to love Toonami. Oh I remember Tenchi Muyu!! That was a cool show. I'd always try and eat my dinner fast because it always came on around the time my mom was ready to eat. 
I liked watching Rurouni Kenshin too. That was a neat show. I can barely stand what they have on now and even on adult swim, which I didn't usually watch because it came on too late, they're adding shows that I don't even watch. But yeah, I miss the old Toonami of the yester years.

toonami was the best. used to stay up and watch everything. cartoon netwrok as a whole was better years ago. but now i dont even watch it.

ah its too bad toonami isn't on anymore seeing how adult swim is on at earlier timesman toonami is sooo missed. the shows... I'm feeling nostalgic... Wahhh!!!!

I miss toonami with shows like sailormoon, voltron, dragonball saga, gundam wing and nartuo. But most of all I'll miss tom the robot host of the show.

I'll always remember getting home straight from school and sitting in front of the tv for hours watching Toonami. It's sad that they started off as a 3 or so hour block everyday of the week and ended as a few hours a saturday.

Yeah, I do miss Toonami. Today's bunch isn't as great as the old-fashioned, spacesuit-wearing Tom (who hosted Toonami).

I haven't thought about Toonami in a long time. I actually really used to hate it. Then I got into anime and I loved it. I also really love the old Adult Swim, when they weren't showing those ridiculous shows they have on now. I miss Tom. But who the heck was the guy that hosted before him? I can't remember.
