I've downloaded two pokemon games, silver and gold, and after starting up both, they've only gotten to the screen that says "New Game" and "Options" and I can't select either, although I can move the arrow from one to the other. Anybody know the issue? I'm using VBA if that helps at all.

yes you need to set controls for your vba that suit you.....go to options ---> control settings then make whatever u want the B button to be and whatever you want the A button to be...i prefer x and z though

yes he's right you can alter your control settings but if you want to play with the same controls(z&x) then z is for selecting an option and x for cancelling

Uhm...well, try downloading another VBA, (the link one without wi-fi will allow you to trading with Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald) If it's not the emulator try getting the game from another site.

No wait, the problem might be the game got downloaded and corrupted on your end. Re-download the game from where ever you got it, and try again. Set your program controls crooked.

this one happens to be one of them songs (blocked why'd no one tell me?) here's a new song

I downloaded one of the DBZ games and I couldn't go past the first save point. Probably a corrupted file somewhere. Or maybe my emulator doesn't work quite right. I'd try a different emulator if the game doesn't work right.

Hey guys, just a recommendation, if you are having trouble with a rom or something you should start a new topic so more people can see that to help you. Not everyone will see these comments in this topic!

gamedude826, set the save size to 128k. If VBA is your emulator, it's settable from the options menu, and start digging around for save type.

Setting the control scheme up should do it
