So I was going to buy a PS3 and I was wondering what are the best type of genre for games on the PS3?Also are the RPG's any good for the PS3

yup there is a wide selection of games to get for the ps3 but i would recommend buying games that are able to play online like COD4

well GTA4 and MGS4 are a good choice.and then you can just see reviews of games before you buy them to see if they are good or rent them like i do (that way you don't waste money on crap games).AsrarQ

The reason i havent sold my PS3 by now is because of Metal Gear Solid 4, Killzone 2 and Resident Evil 5.Do you want pure RPGs or games with RPG elements?Games like Resident Evil 5, GTA 4, even Metal Gear Solid 4 all have a great RPG element in them. (i consider anything that you unlock stuff RPG)But if you want the pure ones, Oblivion is an awesome RPG game with a huge atmosphere though the combat isnt very satisfying. Another good RPG game would be Dark Messiah, though it got bad reviews, the combat is a lot more satisfying than Oblivion.
