Do you think Starcraft 2 should be for the Xbox 360 or should it still remain as PC exclusive? I was just wondering since RTS-games have become more and more popular on the gaming consoles and not just exclusive for the PC

Took the words right out of my mouth - I prefer just about any kind of strategy game on the PC. The controllers don't do the games justice.

Starcraft is definitely more suited towards the pc. Point and click seems to be much more funtional for these types of games or at least i find them to be. If they are going to put it out on a console I say... both. Developers would do wise to cover all platforms and not limit themselves. But publishing media is a big business and I think that no matter they way they choose to go that if its good enough it will be available to everyone gaming needs.

If it takes more time to release the game while they adapt it to Xbox format, then no, they're taking long enough as it is to release it.

At best, I think they should do what they did with starcraft for the N64. It should be a later release and pretty much just be a reformatted control worked out port. Simultaneous release on the two would just be silly.

It should defiantly stay on the pc. I remember SC came out as a console port for a Nintendo machine and did not do well...

FPS and RTS do not work with traditional controllers. Wiimote would be another story, but the HUEG CONTROLLER won't work for these types of games.

There is no way it would work on 360 or anything other than pc. There is just way too much micro management that is just not possible at the controller level. A keyboard and mouse is a must for this game.

Starcraft just doesn't work that well without the mouse and keyboard, and the 10 hotkeys.

Just like Fenix said before...it wouldn't work too well... The first Starcraft was available on the N64...and it wasn't really an interesting experience. I know that the Xbox 360 controller isn't the same...but there isn't enough button to accomodate a game like SCII...I think that RTS like Starcraft II needs a mouse and a keyboard to be played effeciently

It should remain for the PC only.

Watch a professional competitive starcraft gameplay from Korea. The console controllers don't come anywhere close to providing the speed achievable with a mouse and a keyboard. It's a neat idea, much like halo wars, but considering most starcraft 2 players tend to go competitive, and since much of RTS's competitive fun comes from its game speed, I think keeping it for PC would be a better idea.

Rts's work best on computers and game controllers aren't handy for selecting and ordering large groups to do simple tasks nuff said!
