Have you ever played a grand theft auto game with god mode on, all weapons cheat, and all the cops and soldiers in the world coming after you? That's what prototype is like. Now imagine you can manipulate your body on the genetic level into anything you want. Whip arm? Done. Sword arm? Done. Move almost all of the muscle mass in your body into your fist so you can punch through the metal siding of tanks? Done. It's so much fun. Has anybody else tried this on PC yet? Granted it wont look nearly as pretty unless your running a computer like mine.

i have it on xbox360. very good game. I love how you can bring down helicopter just by launching yourselves at them.Also, something you didnt mention:The city is immense and you have spiderman like abilities to run up walls (yes VERTICALLY NOT HORIZONTALLY) and then jump off the top, do air dashes and glide over building, plus when you land on the ground you send out a shockwave smashing everything in a radius (well, except tanks etc) you can also consume people and gain their memories. very fun to eat people.

This game actually reminds me a bit of inFAMOUS's features, it sounds alot more "free-world" then most of the games I've played. I'll try to see if I can find a download on it online and I MIGHT buy it. *wink*i have it on xbox360. very good game. Funny you should say that megamanacses. This game has been compared to inFamous many times but while they are similar, they certainly are not interchangeable. I pre-ordered Prototyle and today I do not regret my decision one bit.Now locallegend, this game would be more like Grand Theft Auto IV + God Mode + All Weapons + Infinite Ammo + Super Jump + Low Gravity + Walk up Walls + Mega Run Speed. In all GTA games, you can't cause too much chaos because eventually you'll be overpowered or run out of ammunition (which ever comes first). In this game, you can fight an endless supply of military no problem. It's what I wished GTA games COULD be. The next best choice would be Saints Row 2 since unlimited ammo and no fall damage are unlockables.

I just got it the other day, running fine on my new laptop :DI've only really done a couple of missions, just unlocked the free roam capabilities, but so far it seems to be very good!I'd also reccomend the game to people interested in this particular genre.

I got it the day after release. Finished it a week ago and I must say, its a great game! I just wish you can replay missions (Friggin Supreme hunter I want bash you up again). When I tell my friends about prototype, I say its GTA + L4D thrown in a blender with a lot of cheats.
