Marijuana should not be legalized. At least, not smoking it.Cigarettes, alcohol, marijuana, and soda (yes, soda does damage to your liver) should be banned, and enforced more strictly.Ooh, and it would be nice to kill immorality.

There's a reason Cigarettes are so dangerous.. Because they're legal! Tobacco itself is just as harmless a plant as marijuana.. But once legalized, it was taken hold off by massive corporation. And when it's sold in such mass, companies look into how to sell more.. So they put nicotene and other drugs in Cigarettes to make them addictive.. If marijuana was legalized it would suffer the same fate as cigarettes. It'd be sold in the form of packs, addictive substances would be added and companies would make it into a poison.. It's better with drug dealers, because then you know all you're getting is the weed in a little bag with no nicotene or scientifically developed substance to get you addicted.

Ever hear of PCP? That's the stuff they lace it with, right now.Anyways, I'm neutral. There are benefits on either side of the arguement, and there are losses.

I think they should legalize all drugs in the uk imagine how much crime would be reduced it becomes less appealin when its permitted and if they sold controlled doses in pharmacies people would lose money in importing and traffiking I think it woulod shock people to know how much of the population actually takes drug its truely astounding

Not all of it. It depends on who you're buying it from, I know/trust my dealer and I never buy from anyone other than him so I know I'm getting real weed. And my crop'll be coming in in just a month, that'll last me another 3 or 4 months :)

It's a complete joke that weed's not legal. It should be legal, you should be able to buy it at the same places you can buy booze, and behind a counter or in a case or in a liquor store.once legalized, you could buy it as weed cigarettes, or get pot candy, cookies, muffins, whatever. it'd do gangbusters. The government could tax the hell out of it, and stop sending innocent damn people to prison.

I'm mixed on the issue. For one - I only say yes because of the deal with cigarettes. Both are potentially harmful to any who indulge in it - but cigarettes, admittedly, kill many more people than marijuana does. And for that reason and that reason alone, I believe that it should be legal - simply because something much more harmful has been allowed to stay on the market - and why? Capital. Simple as that. For two - I say no. People are already stupid enough as it is. Marijuana depleting our population's brain cells and IQ's to a level even lower than it is now - I sense a rapid decline in college applicants and specially trained - that is, degree holding - workers. Then again, that would, in the long run, be beneficial to those with degrees - Law of Supply and Demand. But would I really trade money for the well-being of people as a whole? No.Besides - the idiotic look on people's faces, the redness in the eyes, the yellow tint even when they're not high - all of it is absolutely disgusting to me. I don't see how anyone could want to do that to their bodies simply for a bit of immediate gratification. Such a waste.

Are you sure ? http://www.nida.nih..../marijuana.htmlI just want to know is there really a benefit for marijuana to be legalised ? All I see is just a way for people to legalise more harmful product to the society.

Legalizing drugs has good points and bad points. If we were to legalize all illegal drugs for instance, the number of people using it could go either way. People may think that there is no point using them as it wont make them 'cool', others may start as it is easier to get. However, marijuana is not that bad, and a useful pain killer. So, I think it should be legalized, but maybe people buying it should be controlled in some way, so that junkies are not running around high all the time... but I guess they already do that.

Yeah, all of them have ups and downs. Sometimes you think there'll be problems, but they don't happen, and vice versa. It's hard to make a call, so they try to be safe. :/

I think it could provide a lot of useful change if it were to be legalized. I don't feel that the change can be make without some sort of very detailed system to introduce it as such at this point.

It needs to be legalized... the only reason it is illegal in america is because our government cant make a profit off of it. Back in the prohibition days alcohol was illegal until the govt. found a way to make a profit from it.
