Link is the same in all of them. Differant games differant stories and there never was an "On going story" linking the games together untill OOT - Majora's Mask - and than finally Windwaker.

OKAY, i will set everything straight. one of my friends works for nintendo and i asked him and he said, "it's not so much a 'reincarnation'. it's the same link in every game, but kinda like in parallel universes. doesn't have to be necesarily '100 years after blah blah blah...' but it's more of 'in this game, this is how it goes...in this game, THIS is how it goes..." etc. etc.. Hope this clears it up for you guys.

They are all different people in the series and they fit in different timelines of the story or branches. Think of Link in the tunic as a profession.

My friend and I are fighting over if the Links in the Zelda games, you know Link the main character, is a reincarrnation of Link or "a bunch of knock-offs"?

a bunch of knock offs

i think torchic has da strongest atk in the end (in other words blazekin)and remember all games are allowed, including diamon and pearl

it doesn't matter because pokemon is for losers POINTS were deducted for this post by HadelPlease have a look at the forum rules to find out why your points were deducted.

According to Nintendo, Link has always been a incarnation of a previous Link. The same with Princess Zelda. This is just an excuse to be able to use the same characters over and over again. And I forgot, Ganondorf is the same.

Hmm, I knew this one once. But yes, they are definitely not all the same Link, nor are the games in order. Chronologically, Oracle of Time is the first Link, Zelda I and II (same Link), are chronologically the last Link in the series.

Link isnt in all the games. Some games, its a reincarnation as others have said already. Also, anyone else disappointed by the latest Zelda game? Twilight Princess was a total let down for me. Yeah, beautiful graphics and what not, but wayyyy tooo easy. Give me something like the very first Zelda game, where I died once I took 3 paces off screen.

every zelda game is pretty much a brand new story. it consists of basically the same characters and story line but none of them are really connected in any way. so link is the same person but a different one at the same time in every game. you cant connect the link in TP with the one in OOT or MM because they are all different senarios

Link is not a reincarnation except in Wind Waker but it is just convinient to call the characters the same. The characters are all usually named the same: Evil guy-Ganodorf, Princess-Zelda, main character: Link.
