The game is set to be released on the 23rd of June so we can expect to see it on torrents tomorrow or maybe even later today...Basically the game is a tactical rpg, similar to games like Final Fantasy Tactics, and Disgaea, where you move your units on a grid near enemies and then attack.I think the battleing system could look nicer, but it's on the DS so I didn't expect much. Wow, I didn't even know this was coming out! Cheers for the heads up.
I have to say I thought the graphics looked really nice, especially the pastel colours of the battle maps, very 'real'; for DS at least.I think the battleing system could look nicer, but it's on the DS so I didn't expect much.
A game like this looks fairly hard to play in any language, to be honest. And what's with the obfuscated menu system? I love numbers as much as the next man, but that's almost more menus than I can handle.However, as a fan of Shin Megami Tensei I will almost certainly play it.A game like this would be kinda hard to play if you didn't know English, so I'm glad they are actually porting it. That's what I mean, there is so much on the menu... but what I don't like about the battle system is you don't get to see your own character attack. You see the enemies then you use attacks and spells on them, like dragon quest, I always like to see my characters doing the actions...

The gameplay looks really challenging, but i am sure it's worth buying because it recieved high ratings. Will probably download the rom for try out and then decide to buy it when it comes out

Seems interestion, looks like a SRPG with a EO combat style. Though never really played any other games of the Shin Megame Tensei series.

You don't need to.The SMT title is basically there for the concept; using demons as allies to battle, and has no relation to any other game.What's... what's with all the gripes?You don't see your characters attack, but they certainly make up for it with reasonably detailed area pictures and demon portraits. Purely cosmetic.

Personally, I'm really looking forward to this... I'm a fan of SRPGs in general(Yay, NIS!), for one thing, and also Atlus is pretty cool.The main draw for me is the storyline, though. I've heard it's really good- and from what I've seen of Atlus so far, I can expect it.Shin Megami Tensei is a pretty great series at this point, so it's also a lot of work to stand up to that quality. I mean, they even have an online game with the same premise... All of this only serves to make me want to play this game more,

I love this game, The cathedral is even better in this version. At almost every level up theres a new demon to choose from.Keep those demons in quantity8/10 because no game is truly perfect

I've never really played any of the Shin Megami Tensei games but I might give this one a try. It looks pretty similar to most rpgs but the characters look awesome. ^^

I can't wait for this game! Even more so now that I'm waiting for my pre order from EB Games. Can't wait to fuse Mara...but then again, if we could, it probably wouldn't be rated "T" <3edit: Come to think of it, I do find it kind of strange that it is rated "T". I understand that since it's on the DS, they'd probably need to tone it down a bit...but every SMT game I've played is usually rated "M"...almost like...tradition, or something lol

This IS an awsome game, seriously! All the Shin Megami Tensei games have been awsome (even the FtP MMORPG xP) and this i absolutly not an exeption, i higly recomend people to try it! Though i gotta wonder over the fact that they turn so many franchises inte SRPG's on the NDS, the other Megami Tensei games was more "pure" RPG's. They even turned Valkyrie Profile into a SRPG...

I'm looking forward to playing this, when I can get my hands on it . I've only played Persona 3 so far, but I really enjoyed. Hoping to have a lot of fun with this new game for SMT. Loving all the graphics on this game that I've seen so far.

This game is like a mix of different stuff like The World Ends with you . But Personally dislike the first person battles. Really hate not to see characters
