What I got started in gaming was with the NES and Super Mario Bros. the original and the 3rd game as well as that one TMNT game with the frustrating underwater level where you had to defuse some bombs. As for favorite games growing up I did not have any until I got the SNES and my top three favorite games at the time were Super Mario World, Legend of Zelda a Link to the Past, and the original Starfox.

I wish I caught on with gaming earlier. I only started playing games five or so years ago (I was young then, though). All my friends started playing Pokemon on Gameboy Colors, and I...read books I guess. My first game was Pokemon Sapphire, which my friend gave me along with her used Game Boy Advanced. I played that game like crazy. I was so jealous when my friends got Gameboy SPs and I still had my little GBA with batteries to power it and no backlight.

Pokemon R/B/Y for the gameboy, Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 64 and Harry Potter and the Philosiphers stone for the Plaaystation 1 (ah good times!)

Game you and your friends spent the most time on?I didn't actually start gaming until I was older - I inherited my late uncle's SNES, Genesis, and GameBoy all at once, so I guess those are my first three platforms. Super Mario World was the first game I ever played and beat; my mom and I would play it together while I was out of school, and we would call her sister's husband when we got stuck. Remembering the days before strategy guides and online walkthoughs is making me nostalgic, but anyway...you?

Ive had all the old school systems but the first one that I actually played with the Sega Genesis and loved the game Shining Force 2 for it. First RPG I ever played and still play now

I stared out on NES when I was like 8 or 9 years old. Had Super Mario Bros, Duck Hunt and Duck Tales. Half a year later later I switched to Sega genesis and played all the Sonic games available and Columns nonstop. Another year later I was playing SNES, per-packlaged with Killer Instinct. Also bought Super Mario World (took me 6 months to beat, but found a way to get 50+ 1-Ups on a single board eventually) and Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. That one took me 2 years to beat, lol! Later on the N64 came out and I played Mario Kart 64 religiously.I still have my SNES with Super Mario World 1 & 2, StarFox, Earthbound, and Donkey Kong Country 1-3.

First console was GBAI was introduced to the world of gaming by Pokemon. It's one of my very favorites, especially the Crystal which has been remade

The first ever game i played was Cadillacs and Dinosaurs of CPS1. it was the most favorite game of mine back then. later King of Fighters became my most favorite and it still is my most favorite.
