There was a nes in my basement (I think my dad won it in a curling competition), it had a TMNT game and smb1/duck hunt. Those games were the reason I stopped being afraid of the basement... until the furnace turned on (Dragon! Run Away!)

Sonic and Sonic Pinball on the Sega! :awesome: My sisters and I used to play that a lot. After that was Nintendo, I first got Pokemon snap. I remember it took me a month or something to beat it. Couple years later I could beat it in ~30 minutes lol. I also remember you could bring the cartdridge into Blockbuster and put it in this machine and get stickers of the pictures you took. That was sooo awsome. Also remember playing Shenmu and Jet Set Tricky on Dreamcast... I used to love to feed the cat on Shenmu lol.

First console game I remember plays was Legend of Zelda II: Link's Awakening. In hindsight, I'm suprise thatthe fact that I couldn't actually progress through the game didn't push me away from games in general. But being 7, i probably didn't realize I wasn't getting anywhere.

Well I didn't really start playing games until I was about 10 or so ; so the first game I ever really played was probably Pokemon. I remember thinking they looked so cute! I really didn't play it as a game but more of like..a virtual pet thing.

first four games were all on the SNES: mario paint, super mario world, super strike eagle (even bought the massive joystick controller), and jack nicklaus golf. super strike eagle is the main reason i even play the ace combat series today

I grew up with Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy, and Terranigma. I'm a huge RPG player and still like to play RPG's today. And it was all on the SNEs which I grew up with.

Freddy Fish! And Putt-Putt! But as for legit console games, my first console was a GBA that I got when I was 8 and it had just come out, my first game was Golden Sun 2, which was a lucky choice considering I was just going by the cool covers on the box and knew virtually nothing about video games.

I had a super nintendo when I was growing up. i had mortal kombat 1,2,3 and ultimate mortal kombat 3, super mario all-stars & super mario world, NBA jam NCAA Football, and one of the BEST games EVER MADE, KILLER INSTINCT. All of those games were awesome BUT, killer instinct was the best.

my first was actually gbc and it was pokemon silver. it was so exciting and i played it so many times, but now with the new games and better graphics that and the other gbc games i had are so old school and not as appealing. i was, however, excited for the heartgold and soulsilver games. they are pretty good

I didn't quite get on board at the very beginning, but my gaming life began with the original Nintendo Entertainment System. The first game I played (and first one I beat) was Super Mario Bros, which came included. I believe Duck Hunt was also on that cartridge.Later on, I remember eating up time playing Contra (with the Konami code, of course) and Cruis'n USA (think we were unlocking the various upgrades/colors for all the cars, but can't quite remember for sure).
