Luckily for me, my Dad was heavily into games when I was small. :haha: I have quite a few..N64 - Star Fox: Lylat Wars; Goldeneye; Jet Force Gemini; Mario 64; LoZ: Ocarina Of Time; Snowboard Kids; Mario Kart; Diddy Kong Racing; Pokémon Stadium; Pokémon Snap.PS1 - Spyro the Dragon; Crash Bandicoot.SNES - Super Mario Bros..Gameboy Colour - Pokémon Yellow.Dreamcast - Sonic Adventure; Phantasy Star Online.I still love Sonic Adventure and the Phantasy Star games. I might remember more and update later, but these are the most memorable.

My first console was a gameboy color. I got pokemon blue with it and played through it, but the first game I bought and like was dragon warrior 1 & 2, and dragon warrior monsters. To date dragon warrior monsters is still my favorite game I have beaten it several times and am going to play it later today

I got a PS1 when they were new and just never played it because there weren't any good games until a friend let me borrow Chrono Cross and it was the first game that got me really hooked on video games. Besides the SNES Mario games I'd never really played much.

I had a Colecovision as my first system, with the adapter to play Atari 2600 games. I think my favorite on there was probably mousetrap. But I probably played Carnival the most, as it's the only game my Dad would play with me (the only one he could ever beat me at too).

My first game was FF1 on the original NES. My dad and I played it together, and to this day I'm still hooked on RPGs...yeah, it was awesome!

GBC was my first console, got it when I was 7 with Pokemon Yellow. Pokemon was one of the big influences those days, then I got my 64 and got hooked on Mario Party 1-3. Still remember the old virtual boy a friend inherited me, had mario tennis and galactic pinball. Ahh... good times.

I grew up playing nintendo. Back then, the old blow rule existed. Anytime you went to someone else's house, they had their own personal way to get their nintendo to work perfectly. Those were the days.

The first thing I can remember actually playing on my own (and very poorly at that) was the NES with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the arcade game. That and Zelda, the first one. My first "game system" that was mine and mine alone, was an original gameboy

I had the Mario Brother Duck Hunt combo on the NES. I remember cheating on duck hunt by shooting the gun at a white wall. LOL

Assuming everyone here began gaming some time before the PS2/GC/Xbox generation, what was your childhood like in regards to gaming? Your first console? First game to ever play? To beat? Game you and your friends spent the most time on?I didn't actually start gaming until I was older - I inherited my late uncle's SNES, Genesis, and GameBoy all at once, so I guess those are my first three platforms. Super Mario World was the first game I ever played and beat; my mom and I would play it together while I was out of school, and we would call her sister's husband when we got stuck. Remembering the days before strategy guides and online walkthoughs is making me nostalgic, but anyway...you?

For me....DEFINATELY SUPER SMASH BROS MELEE ON GAMECUBE...but of course...BRAWL IS WAY BETTER!!

I grew up on old Commodore 64 computer games and NES games, took a while to get it down but I eventually mastered them all. Most memorable were...PC- Command & Conquer series (Played nearly all of them, including Red Alert 1 & 2 and expansions.)- Master of Magic (Best. Strategy game. Ever made.)NES- Gauntlet (REALLY fun to play with friends, outstanding dungeon romp)- Super C (Beating this was almost a daily regimen for me)- Super Mario Bros. 3 (Ohh, yeah!)- Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: Pool of Radiance (My brothers always played it and I picked up on it)

Kid Icarus on original GB was my digs, me and my sister would play through it endlessly in a fruitless attempt to beat the eggplant headed monster boss. We never did get very far...Pokemon took up my life from like age 10-onward but before that I was a little tetris fiend when I wasn't owning snakes in KI.

The first game I ever remember owning and playing was Soviet Strike on the PlayStation. It was an isometric game where you controlled a helicopter and blew **** up. Pretty damn good, even today.
