The game that I played the most growing up had to be the SNES classic Killer Instinct. It was basically a Mortal Kombat rip-off but I felt that it was a much better developed fighting game with better moves, combos and finishers. I used to be a pro at that game when I was like 7, beating every enemy at the hardest difficulty over and over agian. That game was the bomb.

Grew up with the family com and the first game we had was Tetsuwan no Atom (Astro boy for non fans). Game was really broken and I had no idea how the game work but the graphics mesmerized me and being a kid who knew nothing about other nintendo games could care less. The graphics was a big wow factor as my family also has the APPLE 2 and the atari 2600 before I got my first (and never the last) nintendo console. Still to talk about tetsuwan no atom (keep referring to that cause you won't find astro boy in the rom list on any website) is really hard as I don't even know what the objective of the game is except for a screen shot on the box where astro boy is flying off the sunset with a couple on his back. Game mechanics is as simple as punching pixelated baddies till they disappear and doing a timed double (or was it triple) jump will make astro boy use his jet feet to fly.

Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time. Hands down the best game alive. All of the main system versions, except Wind Waker, where too good to be true. Can't wait for SKyward Sword

played duck hunt and super mario bros. on the nes but never really knew what to do. so i guess that doesn't count. the first game i actually played through and kept going back to was pokemon red version. i remember waking up on a saturday morning to watch cartoons and i would always have my gameboy pocket in my hands playing red version at the same time. then i got the gameboy color and when i got gold version for christmas, it was one of the greatest moments of my life

I was turning five years old. I got a green gameboy color for my birthday and Pokemon Crystal Version along with it. It was the best. I beat the game and eventually lost it. I still have the system and it works. After about 10 years I got the game back and still remember everything in it.

Pokémon Yellow. I played it on my parents' black-and-white gameboy when I was 4 years old. I played it for 3 more years. I also played Super Mario 64 on the Nintendo 64. I took turns with my mom's lesbian friend from college at age 5. I also started playing Freddie Dish at age 3, by myself, and knew how to fix a computer (sometimes). Man I'm missing childhood right now.

My first gaming device was the Game Boy Color. My first game was Pokemon Gold. I would play for hours trying to train my Pokemon even at night with a worm light that my mom gave me. Now, my GBC is in a box somewhere in the basement and I have newer stuff (like a DS and a Wii) but someday, I'll find my GBC and play it again.
