The NES is, and always will be, my favorite console of all time. I remember playing Metroid, for hours on end, not really achieving much. Regardless, I loved it. Super Mario Bros was great too. Though Duck Hunt just got on my nerves.

while i loved the old NES days, my fondest memories was playing my old sega genesis and playing sonic 3 and knuckles from start to finish

The first system i owned was the atari, unfortunately i don't remember what games i played on it, i think it had something to do with tanks though. but i do remember playing super mario bros at a neighbors house. ah the memories..

Super nintendo , sega ,nintento 64, and gameboy color. I remember playing wario, mario, sonic and donkey kong games the most.

Everybody loves Zelda Ocarina of TimeAssuming everyone here began gaming some time before the PS2/GC/Xbox generation, what was your childhood like in regards to gaming? Your first console? First game to ever play? To beat? Game you and your friends spent the most time on?I didn't actually start gaming until I was older - I inherited my late uncle's SNES, Genesis, and GameBoy all at once, so I guess those are my first three platforms. Super Mario World was the first game I ever played and beat; my mom and I would play it together while I was out of school, and we would call her sister's husband when we got stuck. Remembering the days before strategy guides and online walkthoughs is making me nostalgic, but anyway...you?

Before the NEW GENERATION CONSOLE SERIES I have my first gameboy pocket and I was playing pokemon games all day long (promise it's not a joke). I have many Pokemon Games back then there was Red, Yellow, Blue and Trading card that was fun. Besides my gameboy pocket I got this NINTENDO console which I have played also in a long time actually I broke it this last year...

PACMAN YES indeed.... I remember playing this over and over on the PC I can remember lots of different Deluxe versions.I started out with space invaders on a hand held which was in the shape of a space ship it was orange, I loved it it was amazing. Sadly must have got rid of it shame...I had a Spectrum ahhh bless hours to load things from tapes. Paperboy and another one where you flew around trying get stranded people....Used to play on the original Nintendo with lots of boys haha I was never a normal girl doing girly things xpacman Is one game i grew up with Oh and Mega Man
We used to take it in turns around eachothers houses Annoying the hell out of our parents proper sessions playing Mario...Good Times... ...My first proper console was the SNES Donkey Kong was the first big game I completed ahhh loved it...

First game was ZORK on an Osbourne "Portable" back in the 70s.Later it was Commodore 64 and Summer Games , which took the life out of a few joysticksFirst console was Donkey Kong from the Game & Watch seriesAnders

well the first console i got was a ps2?lol..talk about a long long time to get it..haha..what to do? I'm stuck with parents who don't want to buy a gameboy..so i got to fork it out myself..but i do play the emulators..so..game to grew up with would be lion king and alladin on the dos system??

First game console... I first played in those huge black and white gameboy'sPlayed Tetris in it when I was still in kinder. It was challenging before.I still play it now to waste time. I play tetris on the pc now hahaha.

The first game I ever saw, that I recall, is Diablo, that computer game a homestay of ours used to play. He even let me play it, at some point in my young life! Once. And then I died. D:The first game I remember owning is Pokemon Gold. ...OHH. And I vaguely recall owning an old sega console too (don't remember what games were on it though)...I wonder where it is now...?Edit: Also, SNAKE. ON MY MOTHER'S OLD B&W CELLPHONE. 8D

I think my very first games was Legend of Zelda and Super Mario 3. Grew up with those and a few other odd games, until I hit the SNES era. Here I had Super Mario World, Rampart, Plok, but not some of the usuals(I never got to play Link to the Past till I got emulation).N64 brought my favorite games, such as Majora's mask. I'd think these games were my best childhood gaming memories.
