I had an atari 2600 with a ton of games when I was little. My folks bought a computer in the late 80s and i spent a ton of time playing Sierra games like King's Quest and Space Quest. By then we had a Nintendo as well. Dragon Warrior was like crack for me. Double Dragon, Mike Tyson's Punchout, Legend of Zelda and Adventures of Link... all the old classics. Then I got a Genesis. Sonic, Streets of Rage, Shining Force, Beyond Oasis, Out of This World... I guess I was already grown up when the next generation of consoles came out. I feel like video games grew up with me. Good times.

I had a nintendo 64 and three games. A car game (can't remember the name :(), super mario and The legend of Zelda: Orcarina of time. I memorized the first level of Zelda and replayed it hundreds of times. I don't think I ever got further than that. Later on I got a gameboy(but that wasn't such a long time ago) and played Pokemon leaf green. <3XD

i started on an atari 2600 on a little 13" tv. played tanks and the smurfs. then i got an nes. first game i bought with my own money was mario 3. also had track & field, caveman games, mike tyson's punch-out, bases loaded. moved up to a genesis and sonic 2, road rash 2, and nba jam. played snes at my friend's house (literally lived there a couple years). mostly played link to the past and mariokart. also had an n64. played star fox 64, ocarina, mariokart 64, and star wars: rogue squadron. then i discovered pc gaming. played diablo and daggerfall a lot. then i played diablo 2 more than any other game ever. after that it was all the first round of next gen gaming so my gen was over.

I remember I had this very old version of GameBoy, it had no colour at that time. The thick Grey one with 2 dark red buttons. I think I played Sailor Moon on it. It was fun but I had no idea how to play it thou. I don't know where it is but I guess it's been thrown away by my dad ;(

Sega Genesis was the console I grew up with. I remember playing Sonic 2 all the time, and also renting Sonic & Knuckles from the local game store because it was awesome.

My first gaming system was the Game Boy - huge and green. I believe the first games I got were Pac-Man and one of the Donkey Kongs. I got this when I was around 10 I think. I got Pokemon Blue when it came out and so did just about every guy at the school I went to, and that fad lasted a year or two.I got a Playstation next, but was never extremely into gaming until I got a 64. The major games that I played with buds on the 64 were Conker's Bad Fur Day, Goldeneye 007, and Perfect Dark. I remember we used to make up our own "modes" in Goldeneye (one memorable one was One-hit Kills, only in crouch mode, and only using karate chops as a weapon - hilarious and loads of fun).I then got a Gamecube, and even on the GCN the major games I played with others were all of the James Bond games that I had. I don't know why but at the time they were a blast in multiplayer with a few people. I still have a bunch of other games but mostly single player. And now, I have a 360, but I wouldn't consider it a system with games that I "grew up with".

my first console was a n64. I would try so hard to get my family to play, but my parents hated it cuz they're the kind that shunz fancy things with screens on them, and my sis was a baby back then. Also, since I didn't have good games at first, I would go to a friend's house and play starfox and I had so much fun.

When I was 7 or 8, I received my first game console in the form of a used SNES that I got from my godmother and her boyfriend. It came with like 7 different games (including Super Mario world, Super Metroid, Syper R-Type, Street fighter 2, Zombies Ate my Neighbors...and more that I can;t recall.)To this day, Super Metroid remains my favorite of that bunch, and has shaped my view of videogames ever since. ("mindless action FPS? Naww...give me a good solid adventure game anyday. :))
