The main reason I got my 360 was so that I could play Halo 3. I loved the first two, and I wanted to get my hands on the third. That being said, bigger and much better games have come out since then. I eventually stopped playing Halo 3 online altogether because there was no reason for me to keep on playing. Games like Modern Warfare and Bad Company 2 rewarded the player with new in-game weapons and items the more time they spent in the multiplayer; as opposed to some arbitrary private, sergeant, general, etc. ranking system, thus giving the player a reason to keep coming back to the game. In other words, the Halo formula is very outdated. I don't even think that Halo: Reach is going to fix that. To me it seems like it's just trying to play catch-up with all the other multiplayer FPS titles. Sorry guys, it's too little, too late.

i'm still in a toss up if i want to get an xbox again, halo is like that ex that you just keep going back to sure, the *boink* is mundane and nothing spectacular but i just feels so good. and it don't matter how long your in. you can pull out anytime and jump right back in and have fun again.

I'm not tired of it at all. But that is not to say that I wasn't tired of it before.I have not bought/owned a Halo game since Halo 2...In a way I feel that this is a great thing, because now, with Halo Reach, it is like re-kindling the flame. I get to experience it without being bored of it from the newest games. It allows me a greater experience. But I can see how someone who has bought, played and finished every game could be bored of it.But think about this, reach is the last halo game... you owe it to yourself to give it a try. You know there will be no more, and Halo is one of the games that PS3 owners actually envy :P

Im sick of hearing about first person shooters in general. They just need to go away. But yes I do believe Haloo is getting a little dated. The games have gotten tiresome and extremely repetitive and yet people always praise it for being unique and different. Oh well, thats just one guys opinion.

Halo Reach was ok but it's not addictive the way halo 3 was. I've already gotten bored of it.

Definitely getting burnt out on Halo after 5 games. Single player formula really hasn't changed since the first. Way too much hold position for 10 minutes in the campaign. Multiplayer in Reach is alright, but I still prefer the original Combat Evolved since there was more "leading" involved in the shooting.

Great Game but it gets a little boring if you play it too much, I find that it's best to switch games every once in a while.

I remember when halo 3 came out I played it for like month without getting bored but halo reach wasn't nearly as addicting. It was a solid game but only in the short term. The idea of daily challenges was cool but they started re using the same challenges after less then a week. I doubt I would buy another halo game when it was released.

Depends how often you play, how you play, and who you play it with. I don't play everyday, but when I do, I'm stuck to it. Also, I don't keep using the exact same tactics in the exact same playlist, in the exact same map. I try to actually adapt to the situation, which is quite easy when I know who has what weapon, depending on where they go. And if I find some of my friends playing, I play much longer.

i think they need alot of innovation. the current gamer wants fast paced, repsonsive, beleiveable action. battlefield and call of duty games r realy great at emulating a piece of wat acual war would b like. the guns have a real heaviness to them, ur movements arent so restricted, an the settings r sumwat familiar. ill say halo reach had sum good additives to the classic formula but besides the jetpak stuff like sprinting an armor load outs r more making it closer to cod than setting itself apart.
