I like advanced wars better.But if Fire Emblem had a map editor.And free play.Oohh boy.This game would never get old.And playing through the game without losing a characteris INTENSE.

Yup, its hard to lose even one characters, (even the ones you never have any intention to use use it in any battles) lol!The second version have more varies of class upgrade. I prefer the rogues,wyrm rider and paladins. They could turn the tide of battles you know.

The Wii game was pretty good, but I never got to finish it, because I don't own a Wii, I was borrowing it... I own my own copy of the game, though. Lame... And the memory of my game is in a Wii I will never see again. (My heart's broken in a thousand pieces) My all time favorite FE character is Legault! Hezzyeah! I don't think Advance Wars has the same appeal. Sorry... Not enough badly concealed slash for me. ^^;

Why are you talking about Pokemon in a Fire Emblem thread? I think some people are confused... Also, it was brought to my attention that Lyn and Jill look practically the same. I never really thought about it, until a non FE nerd showed me. I guess there's only so many faces they can make, eh? And is it just me, or are the battles with the Defend objective the hardest? ^^;

Right now, I'm playing Fe7 or Rekka No Ken (correct spelling?), and I find the story and gameplay to be much better than the other 2 on the GBA. The only thing I like in Sacred Stones is the fact that you can move around the map voluntarily and train your characters to get them more experience. Right now though, I'm having trouble with Chapter 30, and was hoping someone could help me out. If you want to, you can PM me and I'll tell you the problems, since I'm strapped for time right now, or maybe I'll just edit post later where I explain my problems.

If you are ever going to play this game, crafted by the minds of gods, then you HAVE to play Sacred Stones. Fire Emblem, what I assume is the second and the focus of this topic, had a great story and as a bonus WASN'T SHORT. It was really quite long depending on how much you don't want people to die and how many of the secrets rewards you want to acheive. And once you've finished building up all those characters in the first campaign, "Lyns", and it ends, naturally you think they are gone for good, what a waste...THEY CAME BACK! WOOT! I love these games...*Sheds a single tear*

Yeah, Fire Emblem titles are nothing short of awesome. Too bad Radiant Dawn got panned by reviewers who don't see it for what it is, especially since they can't see it from the Japanese perspective.But back to this, Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword is awesomeness. Incredible story, great characters, and perfect difficulty.

Fire Emblem... It's pretty much a great game to play. Not the best in the world, but overall, it's the best tactics game made for the GBA.
